If your interested in camping there is 20 acres and ample space for you to decide where to put up your tent. We provide a firepit or ring. Wood can be purchased or foraged yourself for your fire.Hoosier National Forest is across street so hiking is unlimited. This is a quiet destination in the woods with abundant wildlife.There is a small farm here where produce and flowers even eggs can be purchased. Chickens,guineas,ducks and geese are free range so all about near house. This is also a cat sanctuary with disabled cats mostly wobbly, you probably won't see any of them as they are afraid of strangers. Please understand, you will be in the woods. We have coyotes,bobcat,fox,deer,skunk racoons, opossums etc... Keep food contained and be aware of surroundings! I do have 2 honey bee hives on property.

This cabin was built by my husband and I. It has native oak, walnut and maple on the interior walls. We cut the trees ourselves off of the property where we built the cabin. They were then cut and planed by our local Amish. The ceiling is beautiful cedar wood. The exterior and roof are metal. A single heating/cooling unit allows you to control the temperature of the cabin. Inside you will find one room for the bedroom, living room and kitchen. Behind a beautifully handcrafted barn door you will find a second room containing the bathroom and laundry. Kitchen area has a stove and refrigerator as well as a microwave. It is well supplied with dinnerware, cups, glasses, flatware, pots, pans, hand mixer, blender, toaster and several utensils. It has a 55” Roku television for your viewing pleasure. You can relax in one of the 2 swivel rocker recliners or in the bed to watch tv. High speed fiber internet is also available. The queen bed also faces three large windows with a view of the woods. Allowing you to watch the wildlife outside. You may see squirrels, turkey, deer or raccoons and often you will hear a hoot owl or screech owl at dark. The bathroom has a large 60” shower, sink and toilet. This is also where you will find the washer and dryer. Outside you will find a gas grill, a small patio table and a fire pit. Wood and sticks for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows are provided. You can also enjoy the sounds of nature while relaxing by the fire with a good book. There are trees surrounding this property as well as a dry bed. If, there has been a large rain you will see water in it. Please bring your own camping chairs. Our cabin is located just minutes from French Lick and West Baden. Paoli is just a little further away for your shopping, eating and entertainment needs.

Nestled on the banks of the Ohio River, this primitive camp is ideal for nearby fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming! Our unique location offers a picturesque view of downtown Evansville and Dutch’s Island. Set in a no-wake zone, the shallow beachy island also serves as a barrier from the river channel creating calm lake-like waters. We are located only 0.2mi from Dogtown boat ramp and 300ft from Nu Plaza marina. Biking, walking/hiking trails, local park, and pool nearby. On our property, we allow our campers the flexibility to pick their own perfect spot to camp. There are large mature trees that offer plenty of shade and flat ground for an easy setup. Each site has a firepit, picnic table, and nearby trash can. A firewood bundle is included and complimentary smores packages upon request. Our property features 2 communal areas each with a fire pit, charcoal grill, tables, chairs, and lights. There is access to electric power strips and water hoses in each communal area. Kayaks are available to registered campers only first come, first serve. Price is $25 or a single kayak, $50 for a tandem. Includes lifejackets. We look forward to having you!
