Camp and gather at our family owned farm- The Farm-ish Momstead, also known as The Martin Family Farm. Available for primitive camping, day use, or event gathering. Amenities could include the use of the event barn for groups and events, a lake, fishing (bring your own pole and tackle, kayak or SUPs), bonfire pits, a shelter house, and a reliving farm experience if you choose to take part- beef cows, dairy goats (often including milking and goat kids), a mini highland cow, and chickens. Celtic Glen is a working, 100 acre family farm of heritage breed livestock, nestled in an old limestone quarry on the banks of the White River, on one side, and Fall Creek, on another. Lots of space between campsites and are often all to yourself. Learn about regenerative farming with rare breeds on a farm tour, or mining and wetlands restoration on an ecological history tour. This is a working farm with lots of livestock, electric fences, and working dogs, so please leave the farm animals alone unless someone from the farm is available and present. Dogs must be on a leash in the camping area. given the above features of a working livestock farm, the quarry ruins, the operative railroad tracks, and the river (not suitable for swimming), family friendly (children under the age of 18 must be attended by adults at all times). *We have lots of on-farm food and supplies options, please contact us for a complete list and any requests. Weekend Trip to Sleeping Bear Retreat

I loved camping here. The teepees are such a great retreat, I chose one with power which was a luxury. Enjoyed cooking over a fire with my own picnic table nearby. Even set up my hammock behind the teepee with some well placed trees. The bathrooms were very well maintained and even had an outdoor sink to wash hands and a separate large sink to clean dishes. The grounds are lovely and I will definitely be back to camp again.

This was our first Hipcamp visit so far and we were not disappointed at all! Very unique campsite and lots of things to do for the kids. It was very private and we didn’t see or hear much from anyone. We definitely recommend checking it out and we will definitely be back for the haunted trail in October. A+ experience

Weekend Trip to Sleeping Bear Retreat

This was such a fun & unique way to camp! The wagon is very spacious and tall enough for my 6'3" husband to walk around in! There were 2 cots and 2 twin mattresses on bedframes. They also had a table and 2 chairs. The bathrooms (real plumbing!) were very close to the covered wagon and they were very clean! We were here in March and the overnight temps were in the low 40s. It was definitely cold and I wouldn't recommend going until it's a bit warmer overnight! During the day it was very comfortable though! The campsite is very close to downtown French Lick and we were able to stop for a coffee and a view of the hotels on our way out of town!
