Harmony Hill Acres

7 sites · RVs, Tents18 acres · Centralia, Marion
Ranch lands of a prior Horse Ranch at the edge of town is conveniently located. Most of the property is pasture area but plenty of yard for tent camping. We have small goats, chickens, and turkeys on-site. We live about 2 miles from our local lake, which has boat access and paddling access. The beautiful view of sunsets and sunrises are spectacular more times than not. We host large herd of deer traveling and sometimes bedding down in our pastures, so be sure to watch early mornings for them to be on the move. We are very close to town, but the 18-acre site brings a serene aspect to the grounds.

Weekly studio cottage @Carlyle Lake

3 sites · Lodging1 acre · Carlyle, Clinton
This property is next to historic Clark Cemetery. It is in a community that primarily belongs to boat club members who access the Boulder boat launch. Although this small community is in the quiet countryside, there is a train that passes through the area periodically that I find pleasant and I hope you will too. Carlyle Lake surrounds this community and supplies the local communities municipal water systems. Most residents are here throughout the entire boating season (early spring through late fall), although there are some that are here year round. The studio cottage is the oldest in the community, as most cottages here belong to RV'ers. I'm hoping to rent out an additional 3 bedroom lake house next to the studio cottage that accommodates up to 8 in the coming year or so.Learn more about this land:This is an open floor plan studio cottage with two twins, full kitchen and 3/4 bath (shower without bathtub), toilet and sink. This has 2 new beds, 2 TV's, 2 small dressers, new dining and living room furniture (except futon) and all new linens. Nightly is no longer available due to hiring out cleaning people. The porch is covered and about the same size as the whole house! Please park directly behind the cottage. You pull in on Clark Cemetery Rd and follow the turn to the left and then right. You will see the basketball hoop at the end of the drive and turn left to pull up to the studio cottage. This is available monthly at $2,000/month. All stays are minimum 7 days. You may stay less than 7 days, but must pay the 7 day rate minimum. Ex: 1-7 days is $700, 8+ days are $800, 900, etc. 28 days or more is $2000 minimum plus the continued discount for 30+ days.

Glamp Games Retreat

5 sites · RVs, Tents20 acres · Oakdale, Washington
You’ve Arrived! This privately owned land is 15 minutes south of Highway 64 and one hour from St. Louis. Your stay here includes access to a large indoor area with games via a keypad entry. The games include air hockey, ping pong, corn hole and fooseball. During favorable weather an outdoor basketball hoop will be set up. There is access to water from an outdoor hydrant and two separate 50 amp hook-ups are available if reserved (site 1 or site 3). The water from the hydrant is drinkable as it comes from the county water supply. Standard electrical outlets are available from inside the building. There is also a refrigerator that is shared/available to use provided that you do not leave anything in it upon your departure. The freezer side has ice-packs that you can help yourself to/take what you need. The building has speakers with a bluetooth adapter that you can connect with your phone to play music. There is not a dump station/black water disposal. There is an outhouse toilet. The property contains Elkhorn creek which flows year round, but is very shallow. The creek follows near the western and southern portion of the attached property. Children will need to be supervised as even shallow water can be dangerous. There are three wide hiking paths that can be enjoyed with leave no trace principles. The forest is home to whitetail deer, raccoon, woodpeckers, a barred owl, frogs, chipmunks and squirrels. Nearby attractions include a nature preserve, Washington County State Recreation Area (boat ramp access and possible dump station), the Rainbow Ranch, and various Illinois State Parks. If you want to get off the beaten path there is a wonderful butcher shop/sundries called Waller’s Market that is 10 minutes to the west and the town of Nashville is 15 minutes to the east and has various shops and grocery stores. Less than 5 minutes to the south is the B & B Quick mart. The roads are very well maintained and easily navigable weather you drive a compact car, pull a travel trailer, or have a Class A. The road is paved. There is excellent cell phone reception. The indoor wood-stove and the overhead door are not to be used. Please close all doors, turn off all lights and make sure everything is locked up before you leave the site. If you have a young child, please let me know so I can remove the ping pong and fooseballs at your request for safety purposes. By booking your stay you are agreeing that you will abide by the above rules and not hold the land owner or other parties involved liable for your health and safety. Please continue to take good care of the space so that others may also enjoy time with their friends and families.
