Down by the River

1 site · RV5 acres · Pinehurst, ID
Learn more about this land:Enjoy your stay, Down by the River, on the banks of the Coeur d'Alene! Launch your SUP, Kayak or floats to play in the river and fish. With wide open space there is plenty of room to relax and watch the clouds go by. This primitive camp site at the edge of the river is quite flat, but might require some leveling under your tires. The drive/road is shared so all vehicles (2 max) must be pulled off the road and into the designated area. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike trail is just on the other side of the river and trail access (and pit toilets) is less than 2 minutes away. Gas, ice and the famous Snake Pit restaurant are near Exit 43 off I-90, 5 miles up the road.

Camp Chain Lakes

1 site · RV, Tent5 acres · Cataldo, ID
Learn more about this land:Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers. Please send a message if you have any questions. I am happy to help.

The River

1 site · RV1 acre · Smelterville, ID
The property is approximately .4 of one acre. It is flat with grass and has approximately 125 feet of river frontage. The north fork of the cda river is popular for trout fishing and floating with little to no white water. The property has a fire pit, fire wood, bbq, cook stove, canoe, porta potty and power. One 30 amp plug and multiple 20 amp outlets. I have an electric water pump I occasionally use to irrigate the grass and to fill RVs with, so water is available but not for drinking. I have personally caught cutthroat trout in front of the property. A ton of recreation to do. There is few hundred thousand acres of public land to explore.
