Nestled in northwest Idaho, Troy features four distinct seasons and nearby camping options for year-round fun. The local Troy RV park features a pet-friendly atmosphere for big rigs with paved parking spurs, full hookups, and picnic tables. Roughly 30 minutes north, tent, motorhomes, and equestrian campers can spend a few nights in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest’s Saint Joe Ranger District. Amenities here include picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, and restrooms. Swim, fish, and boat on the St. Maries River, hunt for rare crystals in the Emerald Creek Garnet Area, or snowboard amid fresh flurries in the Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area during winter.
