At the top of Ontario Heights, our 1.5-acre property overlooks the Treasure Valley, offering stunning views, beautiful trees, and an open sky perfect for stargazing at night and breathtaking sunrises in the morning. We offer a cozy fire pit near the tent area, a walking path around the property, and space for one tent and one RV—both spots provide incredible sunrise views. The property is pet-friendly (please clean up after your furry friends!) and equipped with security cameras for added peace of mind.

Sandhill View Ranch Campsites ⛺️

Nestled in the rolling hills of southwestern Idaho, this high desert campsite offers a breathtaking view of the Treasure Valley. The valley stretches out before you, with its patchwork of green fields, winding rivers, and bustling towns and cities. In the distance, you can see the rugged peaks of the Owyhee Mountains rising up against the blue sky.

The campsite itself is situated on a gravel and dirt leveled site for you to pitch your tent on a level spot, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

As the sun sets, you settle into your camping chair, watching the stars come out one by one. The cool night air is alive with the sounds of crickets and frogs, and you can't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility. at the slowly come alive with the twinkling lights of the towns and cities. You know that you've found a special place here.

In the morning, you wake up to a chorus of birdsong.From here, you can see for miles, and you feel a sense of awe where the beauty of nature and the peace of the countryside come together to create a truly unforgettable camping experience. vastness and beauty of the Idaho countryside.

Twisted Pine Ranch, LLC

  Twisted Pine Ranch has a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding Council.  We are a small working ranch with a variety of livestock.  Easy access to Hwy 95 to enjoy many outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, OHV’s, snowmobiling, skiing, boating, etc.).  

  The Weiser Trail is just west of the property.  Need a place to overnight while traveling through with Livestock and/or Pets?  We can accommodate your needs.

Downtown Boise's Best location!

Instant book site. It's a short walk to BSU, downtown, the fabulous green belt and much more!  Three sites are available for Class B or small Class C boondockers (dry campers) at this location in downtown Boise. Maximun length is 26 feet. Small side outs ok. This is beautiful property in a park-like setting historical district. You can walk to everything downtown. Water is available to fill your supply tank only. There are no port-o-potties, or hookups. Generators are okay. There's lawn chairs, a picnic table and a BBQ. Non-barking pets are ok on leash only. Sites are numbered 1, 2 or 3. The 132 WEST MAIN ST. property is accessible from the alley. Enter alley from North 1st street. Sites are half way down the alley. It's the lot with the boondocker sign. Discount for longer terms. PLEASE mind your dogs potty!

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. 

So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river.  There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. 

Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. Caddyshack RV Space

Easily accessible RV pad big enough to host 3 trailers. Spot has full hook-ups (water, septic, 50amp outlet with numerous 110 standard plugs) on the back 9 of Terrace Lakes Golf Course in Garden Valley, Idaho. You can enjoy bike rides, hikes, playing in / floating the Middle Fork of the Payette, hike to hot springs, watch the deer and elk roam, or play 18 holes of golf and hot the Terrace Lakes geothermal pool.

Mountaineer Frontier

Enjoy camping and recreational activities at this beautiful property located right on the Weiser River — with dry camping only (for now)!

There are two private roadside spots available that can accommodate tent camping and/or trailers. Spot A is slightly larger, while spot B is a bit smaller — but I’ve parked my 35-foot bumper-pull toy hauler trailer on it before, with the toy door open and plenty of room behind it, no issues at all.

Campfires are allowed on both sites; however, you must observe and comply with any fire ban periods.

Legal hunting and fishing are welcome on the surrounding BLM land! Please follow all hunting and fishing laws and carry the proper licenses and tags with you at all times while participating.

🚫 Firearms: For the safety of all guests, no discharging of firearms is allowed on the property.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Capacity: Parties of up to 10 people per spot are permitted. (If you need more for a reunion or special event, reach out via text and we can discuss options.)

🚗 Parking: Spot B has limited space — more than two cars may cause parking issues.

🌉 River Access: There’s a small tunnel under the access road near Spot B that provides direct access to the river.

🐾 Pets: Well-behaved dogs are always welcome! The sites are close to the access road, so please keep dogs leashed — some drivers tend to go a bit too fast.

Little Pine

Revel in 360 degree views of West Mountain, Jug Mountain, Golden Ear, and Lake Cascade from this meadow camping spot at the base of West Mountain. Saturate yourself in nature with blue birds, sand cranes, osprey, and more. Sit and sip morning coffee, seek adventure by day (the sun is hot when you have 360 views), and return for campfire cocktail at night.

Circle like driveway up top makes turning around easier. 

Micone Ranch

Hello. My name is Tamara and my husband is Andy. We bought this place in 2022 with the goal of raising animals humanely and providing good food options to purchase at reasonable prices. After moving to Ontario I noticed there are not many good options for nighttime sleep. I fondly remember camping with our kids in a location we named Neverland. We decided we wanted to create that for people. That’s why we joined Hipcamp. We have several sites that range from close to the house and bathroom access to remote in a field with the sounds of the creek to lull you to sleep. To increase safety and aid in positive memory making, only one group is allowed at a time. We have lots of space so whether you are a lone traveler, a family, or a group of friends looking to make memories consider staying with us and our animals. We generally have goats, chickens, and pigs. From July to October we have pheasants. Oh, and we have Cheese, our patrol duck, who wanders and keeps an eye on everything. He loves treats. Our driveway is immediately off Ontario Heights Rd. Google tells people to turn on Grand View Lane. There is no access to our property from that direction. We have a 300-gallon trash bin next to our mailbox that says camp host. Our driveway is immediately across the road from there. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. RV hook up is right off the driveway by the power pole. Ground is in its native form and only gets minimal rain. Some weeds and goatheads may be present.

A small, creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Water is clearer during the winter and spring months. The spots I have cleared in this area are small. I recommend tent camping in this area. It is densely wooded. We have goats in this field; they are shy. We have goat treats available for sale if you would like to feed them.

Oregon has an invasive, poisonous weed called Water hemlock. If you camp in this area, familiarize yourself with this plant so you can avoid it. Camping areas have been cleared of this plant. If you wander along the creek, you will encounter it.

We are a small ranch. You will see us getting our show horses ready to show or get ready for a cutting, irrigating, feeding cattle or horses and working on the property in any way it needs. Our property is situated on a hill so you will see a beautiful view of Squaw Butte and lots of sunsets.

We have a variety of spaces available. For RV's - one gravel drive with 30 amp and water (no sewer dump)

On the Weiser Under the Water Tower

We are located on the Weiser River, within walking distance of the Country Coffee Cabin Café on Highway 95. The Weiser River Trail, the Post Office, Library, and local Mercantile in the Village of Midvale (Pop. 200) are all just a short walk away.

Our property sits beneath the iconic Midvale Water Tower. There is a public boat launch a short distance from us for access to the Weiser River.

The RV hookup is next to a small fenced fruit orchard/garden designed to keep deer out. You will have a 30 AMP hookup and water—no dump. The nearest dump site is 8 miles away at the fairgrounds in Cambridge, ID.

Every year on Memorial Day weekend, the annual Weiser River Wagon Train and Ride passes through Midvale, camping overnight in the town park with their horses and wagons. In April, there may be a cattle drive right through Main Street, just a block away. In July, the town hosts a Fourth of July parade. Small-town living at its best—quiet, restful, and a great place to stop overnight or stay awhile.
