Parkside Mountain Ranch provides private camping on a 450 acre mountain with trails for any type of adventure.  

PMR has a variety of camping experiences you can pick from to accommodate while camping with us. Have a family get together, a business retreat, trail ride your horse with your barn buddies, send us a message and let us know what you would like and we will make your camping just the way you want it to be. 

Heyburn State Park Rocky Point is less than a mile away.  Hipcampers can enjoy the Lake Chatcolet which offers a beach, marina, and a boat launch.  Heyburn State Park South Side entrance is located on the same road as PMR. PMR will have sites with over night horse stalls too. Sooo bring your horse camping with you!

Chocolate Moose Marina and Chapel

Private marina with 2 small outbuilding for use as shelter or to use in combination with your own provided tent. 12v power and water at site. Porta Potty provided. Boats higher than 8 foot may not be able to enter or exit Black Lake due to trail of cda bridge over access channel.

Very remote location accessible by car via maintained dirt road. Firewood provided. 

Additional guests can pitch a tent. Please bring your own bedding. A Blackstone grill and a propane stove are provided for cooking. (For 2024, an inflatable cabin has been purchased to provide additional sleeping space)

Internet and wifi calling are available. Info provided in welcome packet.

Property leased and managed by MATAM LLC, an Idaho Limited Liability Corporation. Guests, and their guests; agree to hold harmless MATAM LLC and property owners and their heirs.

Missouri Flat

We are located a 10-minute drive north of downtown Moscow, on beautiful Moscow Mountain. We have 3 acres that includes our house, the studio (your home base), garage, greenhouse, and a couple storage sheds. The studio is most comfortable for just 2 people, but there is an extra foam queen mattress and bedding available. Our property is surrounded by and dotted with trees, with a peek-a-boo view of the Palouse. We have swaths of grassy yard, an orchard, and several raised beds in our garden. We also have a seasonal pond that is home to Mr. and Mrs. Mallard in the spring and summer. 

Take in the sunrise from the deck with coffee in hand, and sunset off the back patio. 

Enjoy a quiet, tranquil setting with easy access to town. Popular mountain biking and hiking trails are a 5-minute drive away. People also cross-country ski on the trails. Look for wildlife tracks if you make it high enough away from the well-used trails. You'll see deer, moose, and even cougar or bobcat.

Details:
 We have a lux glamping tent, containing 1 California king bed and one queen bed. There is additional space for at least 2 people to sleep on the floor. The Glamping tent is designed on a wooden deck, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery, soaking in What Glamping is all about. 
The glamping tent includes a stove, where you can cook food and keep warm at night. (Wood is needed). 

Both the basic tent site and your Glamping Getaway site have Access to a modern bathhouse with toilet and sink. (This house is mere steps away from both sites). 
Your site has a panoramic view of theof mountains and cda lake. 
There are designated areas to park in the dirt driveway. (The parking number will be given to you on booking). 

There is a fire pit and outdoor picnic eating space, available to all. 

(Wood for the stove & fire pit , as well as food trays and wine, are available at an extra charge.)

We pride ourselves on cleanliness.  The glamping tent is deeply cleaned, with new sheets and pillowcases, and duvet cover, after each stay.
We also deeply clean the bath house, fire pit and dining/picnic areas.

Clearwater Wildergrounds

Clearwater Wildergrounds is a very special sanctuary. What Abigail and I have envisioned for this land is to make it into a social gathering spot for all to come and unplug from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We're new, young, ambitious land stewards who want to make this place into a self sustaining homestead abundant in organic food, loving relationships, and laughter than can be heard across the valley. Learn more about this land:Our charming little homestead in training is situated right off the well traveled highway 12. This isn't your traditional campground feel, it's a place to come kick back with us during your travels. You'll find us in between Lewiston and Orofino. We've set up a sweet little campsite tucked up on the hill with magnificent views that will sweep you into full relaxation mode. Site includes a fire pit with complementary firewood, a tent if needed, outhouse with a hot shower, and fresh eggs if you're wanting a full on rustic breakfast over the fire in the morning. Fire is permitted depending on the season.

Crooks Lookout

 !!SHOWER HOUSE IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON WILL BE OPEN AGAIN IN THE SPRING OF 2025!!  We have a RV/Tent pad with full hookups, and a shower house.                             

Tenting discounts are available.

Its a great place to stop by for the night when traveling through on Hwy 95. There is some highway noise.  

Firewood is provided.                                                                               

Biking can be done across the highway with more awesome views.

Several level gravel spots with easy access to both Moscow and Pullman, just three miles from WSU and U of I campuses. Take in the stars in the open fields of the Palouse, enjoy a beautiful sunrise/sunset or just take in some peace and quiet. We have 2 spots that can accommodate water, electricity, and sewage hookup, 2 with water only, and several more dry camp spots on open gravel lots.

Butterfield Meadows

Butterfield Meadows is 90 acres of beautiful mountain meadow with Butterfield Creek cutting across property.  Trails for hiking, horseback riding or ATV travel connecting to 20 miles of backcountry trails.  Less than 10 miles to Elk Creek falls, Elk River reservoir and 25 miles to Dent Bridge on Dworshak reservoir for sightseeing, boating, fishing and swimming.  Property is surrounded by Forest Service, BLM, Potlatch land with private land (to the east of property).  Round pen is available by request for horses and fire pits available for use (although caution requested when dry season).Open ranging area.  Prime hunting available for Turkey, Deer, Elk and Bear by special arrangement and permission by owners.
