This creek property was probably used by the Creek and then the Cherokee as a campsite because of the abundant water and wild life. Later is was farm land and in the 1920's had approximately fifty mules working the land. The Old barn and blacksmith shop are still here. In 1977 the government planned to put a four lane toll road through here but was stopped by the oil embargo which caused the right of way to be auctioned. We were able to buy 200 acres for a small amount of money and have been raising cattle and camping on it every since that time. As a Scout Master I have been using this site for camping for the past 15 years. Time to let others enjoy.

Camp is in rural area couple hundred yards off county road but secluded. Plenty of deer, turkey, geese, wild ducks, beaver and other wild life in the area.

Scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and had serious RV problems (lost all lugs on a rear dually converted E350). They have a no refund policy but accommodated us to shift to Wed., Thursday, Friday at no additional cost. We stayed only two nights. Very restful area next to a nice stream with antique tractors and walnut trees. Fascinating black walnut farm . We had a tour of the process which was very interesting. Bought walnut bread and brownies which are very healthy and made on site with Stevia to accommodate our non-sugar request. Limited biking available due to local free roaming big dogs and geese that are very protective in the area. So we didn't bike. Trails are not immediately local and we did not want to move the RV out of caution. So we left early. Overall, it was a restful, picturesque trip.

Camping at Regino’s Property
Absolutely loved camping at Regino’s property! It was such a refreshing experience compared to staying at a traditional campground surrounded by other campers. The privacy was incredible, and you could truly experience the freedom and peace of being out in nature.
The beautiful stream running through the property and the walkable land made exploring and relaxing so enjoyable. There was something special about being able to disconnect from the crowds, enjoy the sounds of nature, and actually feel like you were camping in the wilderness.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, and authentic camping experience, I highly recommend staying here. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back!

Was especially nice to have hookups (to run A/C) in the summer heat/humidity. No issue with the neighborhood dogs mentioned in the description, they were friendly and unobtrusive. I'll be back - but next time in spring or fall when the heat and bugs are down.

Great little campground in the mountains! My kids loved the creek and mill waterwheel. The campground is very small but that’s not a bad thing. There wasn’t a lot of foot traffic or vehicles leaving all hours of the night like bigger camp grounds.

However, to Aaron's credit, he has chosen NOT to develop his gorgeous property and keep it pristine and instead turn it into an RV haven. Coming in from the highway with a large rig, it was a little nerve wracking coming in through town and into his property, but if I can fit ANYONE can fit. Lots of separation from others. Wonderful space.
