I can bring you fresh water for drinking and cooking, or you can get it from our spickets at the greenhouse and garden area. You will have 3 choice's to camp Next to a small pond in a shady place (we are cleaning up from some storms, it may not be ready for camping however you can still explore on foot and fish) An open grassy field next to the garden, this space has spickets to hook up for water and a regular outlet for electricity but not to run a camper. Under a large oak tree. You can drive right to this area. Very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 spots by the pond, 2 spots in the grassy area and 1 under the oak tree. Water is available for all at the open grassy areas.

Our beautiful unique property has been in the family for 3 generations. Over the years, our family, plus artists, musicians, & writers have come here to refresh and get inspiration from nature. But with Hipcamp, we've opened up for others to enjoy. We limit the number of guests staying here to no more than 10, but the daily average is only 4. We have walking trails, a pond where you can kayak, relax on the dock, or feed the huge fish (sorry no fishing allowed.) Also, on our property, there are swings, a tree house deck, obstacle course, fire pit area, wooden bridge, picnic table, and abundant bird life. There's also plenty of wide-open space where you can play frisbee, run, do yoga, and stargaze at night. There's plenty to do in this area, using the farm as your base. Claxton, our hometown, is a great friendly, small-town with grocery and hardware stores and restaurants. Many guests like to side-trip over to the towns of Statesboro, Metter, Vidalia, and Savannah, plus the Golden Isles.

The Neature Preserve (formerly known as "Tabby's Trees") consists of 74 acres made up mostly of pine forest situated in the coastal plain. A creek runs along the western boundary of the property with an ephemeral (seasonal) wetland to the southwest. The overstory of the forest is dominated by loblolly and slash pine with a few longleaf pine sprinkled in, as well as turkey oak, live oak, laurel oak, and sweetgum. We have ~1.5 miles of trails that wind through a variety of ecosystems (trails can hiked or biked). The property has three primitive camping sites. Two of the sites are for tent camping only (where you would park your car along the hiking trail and then follow a separate path to get to the campsite), with one site that has enough space to park multiple cars or small camper right at the campsite. The Neature Preserve is all about restoring native habitat! Prescribed fire is used at The Preserve to safely and efficiently restore and maintain productive ecosystems and to support our native plant and animal species. This was our first time at Beaver Run. The campground was very nice and the host was friendly and helpful. The site easily accommodated our camper. The site was very level! Everything looks very nice and well maintained. We will be back and highly recommend this campground!

1 night at Beaver Run RV Park

Great for a night or two. The tent spot I was in had power and water, so I was able to top off both and leave my laptop plugged in my entire stay. I even used my plug in fan. 😊 There was also a picnic table and burn ring at my tent camping spot. The ground was flat and there were several pine trees that provided some shade. There seemed to be two tent camping spots … of the two, the one I was in was the least private. People walking up the main road of the RV park could (and did) easily see me and what I was doing. Speaking of that, this RV park has some very long timers and some short time visitors. I’d say 1/3 of the people I saw were nice and waived … 1/3 didn’t pay any attention to me … and 1/3 gave me the side eye glance (I was new in the park … no issue with it … I get it). There is an outhouse close by the tent camp sites, but I elected to use the nicer main restroom with the shower/flush toilets. The restrooms were clean and an easy walk from the tent campsite. The front desk staff at check in and check out were nice. At check in, “Janis” lead me to my campsite. If I am ever passing through the area again, it is an easy decision to spend a day or so here. For the price I paid, it was well worth the power, water, showers, and clean tent camping spot … even with the trade off of a lack of privacy.

Very accommodating hosts and owner. Full hook up right next to a lake, walk out the camper and fish under the massive cypress trees. They have full hook ups, laundry, playground and dog park. On the weekends there is a restaurant operating. It’s very quiet and peaceful.

Clean, quiet, family campground. Employees were friendly. bathrooms and laundry rooms are clean and neat and serviced daily. “Rec room” was clean but boasts a ping pong table which has no unbroken ping pong paddles. And a pool table that you need to ask for lock code to unlock the pool sticks. And you need to pay an additional fee to get access to the rec room. I’ve is available for purchase at office. Lake is wonderful and there is a large dog fenced area for turning your dog loose. We enjoyed our stay enough we extended it by another wk!

Jessica and Scott were amazing hosts. Lots of wildlife to see as well as chickens and some loving dogs. WiFi was very fast. They also had a nice bathroom with a hot shower. The city of Dublin was cute with lots of different restaurants.

Dwayne is a great host he went out of his way to make sure we got to our site even when we didn’t arrive until 9pm. We awoke in the morning to peaceful surroundings with goats , cows , horses and a few mules in the next field over along with the sounds of peacocks in the distance. Heavenly peace 🙏🙏

I loved tent camping here! Me, a buddy, and my doggo camped under the trees here for 2 nights. The place is great and well taken care of and the host Lorine was a dream Super Host! She let us use her spring water to top off our containers, sprayed the grounds with anti-bug spray, and checked on us occasionally to make sure we needed anything while also giving us a tour of her grounds! Loved sharing stories with you Lorine! Will definitely be back here again.
