The Neature Preserve (formerly known as "Tabby's Trees") consists of 74 acres made up mostly of pine forest situated in the coastal plain. A creek runs along the western boundary of the property with an ephemeral (seasonal) wetland to the southwest. The overstory of the forest is dominated by loblolly and slash pine with a few longleaf pine sprinkled in, as well as turkey oak, live oak, laurel oak, and sweetgum. We have ~1.5 miles of trails that wind through a variety of ecosystems (trails can hiked or biked). The property has three primitive camping sites. Two of the sites are for tent camping only (where you would park your car along the hiking trail and then follow a separate path to get to the campsite), with one site that has enough space to park multiple cars or small camper right at the campsite. The Neature Preserve is all about restoring native habitat! Prescribed fire is used at The Preserve to safely and efficiently restore and maintain productive ecosystems and to support our native plant and animal species. Exactly as advertised! Durand met us at the driveway, which is long and a bit narrow at a curve, but we had no problem with our 36' motorhome AND our towed F-150. He guided me as I backed into the spot next to the barn and horse field. Full hookup spot. Quiet place as we sat around the fire pit. Friendly horses who loved watermellon... Easy in and out of Statesboro and a great night sky view too! We will be back! Durand and Brooke were excellent hosts!

Clean, quiet, family campground. Employees were friendly. bathrooms and laundry rooms are clean and neat and serviced daily. “Rec room” was clean but boasts a ping pong table which has no unbroken ping pong paddles. And a pool table that you need to ask for lock code to unlock the pool sticks. And you need to pay an additional fee to get access to the rec room. I’ve is available for purchase at office. Lake is wonderful and there is a large dog fenced area for turning your dog loose. We enjoyed our stay enough we extended it by another wk!

I loved the livestock right outside the site. Beautiful and well maintained. All the amenities we needed and Dwayne was so super. Waiting for our delayed arrival. We will be back if we are ever down that way again

Weekend Trip to Pine Forest with grass clearing

Jessica and Scott were amazing hosts. Lots of wildlife to see as well as chickens and some loving dogs. WiFi was very fast. They also had a nice bathroom with a hot shower. The city of Dublin was cute with lots of different restaurants.

Dwayne is a great host he went out of his way to make sure we got to our site even when we didn’t arrive until 9pm. We awoke in the morning to peaceful surroundings with goats , cows , horses and a few mules in the next field over along with the sounds of peacocks in the distance. Heavenly peace 🙏🙏

Weekend Trip to Magnolia Hill

I loved tent camping here! Me, a buddy, and my doggo camped under the trees here for 2 nights. The place is great and well taken care of and the host Lorine was a dream Super Host! She let us use her spring water to top off our containers, sprayed the grounds with anti-bug spray, and checked on us occasionally to make sure we needed anything while also giving us a tour of her grounds! Loved sharing stories with you Lorine! Will definitely be back here again.

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Camp site was very private. Driveway was pretty rutted but you can manage by driving around the ruts.

Great location - quiet, peaceful, and nice. Dana was super helpful and friendly! The bathroom / shower was great. Good flow, hot water, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place

Great little spot. Stopped in for a night while passing through and wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the river. The little bath house was really nice too (:
