We have family in JAX and spent 11 nights at Kenny's property. We were super stoked to discover it and will be coming back on subsequent trips! The site is large, quiet, and convenient. Kenny was gracious and let us take our grandkids fishing (catch and release) on his private pond. We made some great memories with our two older FL grandkids catching bluegill and bass. Full hookups were a plus! Be sure to bring a 50-amp adapter plug. Amazing stay!

Couldn’t ask for a better campsite! A true gem of a hipcamp - Private lot in a lovely quiet neighborhood right on the water. Level concrete parking pad, full hookups, incredible view, fantastic fishing, insane wildlife, and even a ridiculously friendly neighborhood cat. We had many dolphin sightings, caught whiting and red drum from the dock, and even were shocked by a river otter one evening while we were enjoying the stunning sunset. To top it all off, the host Tim was so kind and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and book!!

It's very peaceful, there was only 1 other rv there the whole time. There was a bonfire on Thanksgiving, I wanted to go, but I didn't get an invite and didn't want to intrude uninvited, as there were other people and I wanted to respect their space and time with family on the holiday. Also the temperature had finally dropped from shorts on the beach to holiday weather, and my heater was acting weird. And I was freezing. That fire was beautiful though, I was quite tempted. The lake is calm and relaxing. All in all a good spot to rv

They have been around 50 years and their systems were clear and my orientation was lovely and complete. The land is really happy and magical. What a gorgeous spot. I was immediately regretful that I only booked one night. Timothy was great - available though the app even when I was trying to locate the spot. I was distracted looking at house numbers and missed the giant hipcamp sign lol. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful night and morning, and next time I’ll be bringing my paddle board and staying a few more days. Highly recommend this beautiful spot on the water.

The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and the roads in and out were easy in our 33’ class A. Tim is an amazing host, and all the neighbors we encountered were super friendly. Tim even loaned my husband the proper lure for fishing - no success with reds, but he caught a ton of catfish and had a blast. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Tim!

If you’re going to the swamp to kayak, this is a great location. It is right across from the National Wildlife Refuge entry. I stayed in the most basic cabin, whites just two beds, a mini fridge, microwave, fire pit, and small screened porch. Cabin is the size of a bedroom, basically. Communal shower and bathroom was satisfactory for a camping experience. Don’t expect hotel quality in the bathroom, that’s not what this is about. Charlene, a caretaker, was kind and helpful. I stayed her with my adult son. Perfect for two people. We brought a portable grill to make our own food and also went to Folkston for one dinner. It is quiet and family friendly. The swamp is an amazing natural wonder.

Although the place was wonderful with curious geese and a peaceful pond it made up for the lack of people capable of picking up after their dogs...so luckily we had a large mat and spread it out to keep from stepping in piles of month old dried dog poop. Otherwise hook up was a breeze, the sewer could use some weed whacking for easy spotting but never heard a word from the owners dogs which kept their distance upon arrival, Kenny was responsive and let us enjoy 1 out of 2 days alone on the property while he went and camped himself. I should hopefully return as the view was a change of pace.

Beautiful property, and wonderful hosts. It was well worth the detour off of I95, to stay at Deep Bend. We are still. Sorry of new to the RV life, but this has been my favorite HipCamp so far, and I would definitely recommend it. I'm pretty sure we'll stay there again at some point in the future.
