A creek runs along the western boundary of the property with an ephemeral (seasonal) wetland to the southwest. The overstory of the forest is dominated by loblolly and slash pine with a few longleaf pine sprinkled in, as well as turkey oak, live oak, laurel oak, and sweetgum. We have ~1.5 miles of trails that wind through a variety of ecosystems (trails can hiked or biked). The property has three primitive camping sites. Weekend Trip to Paradise Under The Oaks

Beautiful setting about 20 mins from downtown Savannah, would stay here again in a heartbeat! Level and pull-through (when it’s not raining). We were able to get hooked up properly but provided feedback to make it easier for future travelers. As-is, you’ll need two sewer hoses for sure. The 50A was installed upside down and we were able to finagle our converter in before plugging in, but someone else’s set up might not work. It’s such a gorgeous natural setting, even when it’s raining. You can see in the pictures there is a car, boat, storage on site which didn’t bother us one bit, but again that may come down to preference. It was quiet and safe, good for families with kids like us. Went into town every day with ease. Thanks Brian!

Weekend Trip to Glam Camp At The Old Dairy

The Dairy Farm and GlamCamp is all as-advertised. A little oasis on the edge of the city, with more than you need for a great glamping experience. Loved staying in the ‘64 Pathfinder, a well-restored camping trailer, clearly done by a craftsman with an eye for design, detail, and style. Fortunately the A/C works well, but I’ll look forward to coming back in cooler weather and staying in the Airstream in the Glam Camp ‘village’ across the way. Many thanks, Chad. ~Jeff M-T

They put a lot of work into this little beauty. It was a really cool and unique space to stay in for the night! Ice cold AC & the bed was really comfortable. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this place. Just a heads up, and honestly it’s my fault for not looking more closely at the photos, but when they say the camper is close to the house, it’s CLOSE— pretty much against the side of their house. Definitely not a private place, but if that’s not a problem for you, it’s a quiet & safe spot to stay. I’d love to come back and stay in the actual Glam Camp, but probably won’t stay in the Lark again just because of the proximity to the home. TLDR: Good spot, just not secluded. Thank you for having us!

Very nice, clean campground. A lot to explore if you walk around the campground. The sites are really close together, but there were not many campers when I went due to weather. I met the “mayor”, he was kind enough to pass on some cooking and pans he no longer needed. I would stay again.

I think the yurt was absolutely great for a glamping trip. It had all the amenities you could want and even extra. I will say that it was a little difficult to get to but Kim's instructions work extremely helpful. I do suggest that you use a truck or a Jeep not that a car can't get down there but it's just easier. I think it would be really even much better once some of the debris from all the flooding and hurricanes is taking care of so that you can enjoy kayaking down the river unblocked but there is much woods to explore and it's perfect getaway to be with nature.

Excellent spot along the River. Loved having the fire pit right along the water. Although there is the occasional boater putting their boat in at the ramp, it was otherwise quiet and would definitely come back again!
