I recently acquired this property that has been in my family for over 100 years and my original home place until around 1980. My wife and I initially made this site for our own RV use, but we want to share it for others to enjoy and also to help finance our constant improvements. The original house that I grew up in is still located on the property but is currently uninhabitable (for now). My fondest memories of the property are of playing and catching crawdads in the creek that located on the property when I was a kid and riding horses and flying kites in the fields. I am working hard to restore this property to the way I remember it and trying to make it enjoyable for those that come to visit. A majority of the property is still being used as a hay field during the summer months and two to three times a year the hay is usually harvested.

I recently acquired this property that has been in my family for over 100 years and my original home place until around 1980. My wife and I initially made this site for our own RV use, but we want to share it for others to enjoy and also to help finance our constant improvements. The original house that I grew up in is still located on the property but is currently uninhabitable (for now). My fondest memories of the property are of playing and catching crawdads in the creek that located on the property when I was a kid and riding horses and flying kites in the fields. Great campsites. Kinda rough terrain, but my friend’s sedan made it just fine. I turned on my 4x4 but also my van weighs 10k lbs. there are dogs on the property, that will pee on your stuff, so don’t leave things out, or give them a decoy to pee on. (They peed on my speaker). There’s also a train that’s pretty constant, but nothing headphones couldn’t take care of. All in all I loved this campsite and would love to come back.

Beautiful serene camping with a 3 acre stocked pond with bass and brim. We caught a brim and 2 big bass off little bait fish we caught from the pond. Very quiet only 2 other campers but didnt even know they were there. At night all you hear is nature and all the frogs croaking in the pond. Bathrooms were quality outhouses with sinks. Pond was full of life. Give it time. The paddle boats were an awesome bonus for our 2 kids. Life jackets are included. We felt safe enough to let kids run around the entire pond. All the camping spots are awesome. But ours said it was the best view and it was DRY CAMP #2. Highly recommend! We went in the beginning of March. Trees were still bare but made the views better. If you went in summer you would have a full canopy over the 2 dry camps. Comes with a firepit with a grill grate over it to cook and spatula. A trash can but bring your own trash bags. All the wood you can think to make a fire is right there to use for your camp. Bathrooms are within a few yards by the camp. Bathroom are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and hand sanitizer. Plus this white powder in a bucket with a shovel your supposed to put over your "#1 or #2". Makes it not smell. Bathrooms also had automatic lights as well. Overall we will be coming back. Nearest grocery or food is 20-30 mins out. But there is a few markets 10 mins down the road.

We had been looking for a place where it's just us.
It is by the road but wasn't noisy enough for us to not return. It also has well water and the sulfur smell is strong. We had bottled water and opened the bathroom fan when showering and sulfur problem solved.
The pros outweigh the road noise (which isn't alot) and sulfur smell. We already booked 2 other weekends.

The views for me were beautiful. Not sure what it would be like in the summer. Site was clean but around I did see some trash. I tried to pick some up..
My site at #8 was exactly what I wanted. Firepit already set up at the site. Climbing the rocks to get a better view was fun. Did I say beautiful.
I dont recommend anyone in a 2wd vehicle. You do need some clearance.

The setting is very well done. Very large hill-side sites, all gravel and leveled. My dog enjoyed his walks. 2 detractions, but I'm my opinion not deal breakers. Close to highway and the trains that run in the Valley. We arrived around 2:30 pm and heard 4 trains 🚃 🚃 until about 5:30pm - 6 pm. HWY traffic noise was as expected. But by 7 pm, highway noise had subsided and no more trains. Closing the windows also cut traffic noise. Slept great. It's a lovely well groomed site and definitely worth a visit.

Glamping at the treehouse was amazing! We loved that the treehouse was so well thought out and we got to enjoy it during a sunny and rainy period which was cool.
