I really really enjoyed tent camping at River Ranch! The land is beautiful. There are a few trails that you can walk along the river and see the wildlife. Doni and Laiza ,were very responsive to any questions that I had during my stay and made suggestions on where to walk and what to look out for as far as wildlife. My experience was a 10 out of 10! I will definitely be back soon.

Well kept, shady spots (1-3). Site #1 looks out over a beautiful pasture where we repeatedly saw deer grazing. Convenient to town but not within walking distance. Would definitely choose this site if in the area again. Our host, William was responsive to email requests and questions.

The river right next to the site was so nice. It was great to have the deck and the covered area that we used as a camp kitchen. We put up two tents around the fire ring and had plenty of room. Access to the river is direct and easy. There was an area the dogs were able to use to get in and out as well. It wasn’t muddy and we didn't have any trouble getting to the site in our 2wd trucks. The provided directions were very clear and easy to follow. The neighbors do have a driveway that passes near the site, but they weren't disruptive or traveling in and out after quiet hours.

Deer Valley RV Park was so clean and tranquil. It's my favorite from all my travels. It's small and I love that as we travel without pets or children. Bill was a terrific host. We loved our stay. It does not have a bath house or washing machines. We just went to a laundry mat.

Nice setting, convenient to nearby hiking, wineries, forest service roads, and plenty more to explore. Very easy in and out for the trailer. Was especially nice to have hookups (to run A/C) in the summer heat/humidity. No issue with the neighborhood dogs mentioned in the description, they were friendly and unobtrusive. I'll be back - but next time in spring or fall when the heat and bugs are down.

Overall loved my stay and will be back. Host was extremely accommodating and pleasant to meet. The site had level areas and room for multiple people! You can hear the neighbors and their dogs but I still found it very private. There's still plenty of birds to hear ☺️ The host has set up a beautiful gazebo with a large fan that my dog really enjoyed. I slept on the porch swing and it was so nice. The only real issue was that I barely managed to pull my truck into the site and had to get help getting out because it was a super tight squeeze. The host has an area right before you pull in that you can park at so ask him about it! I was going to stay longer but someone had booked - if it is available I would definitely consider booking this spot!

We got to meet the hosts this time and they were wonderful and gave us fresh blueberries from their own blueberry bushes. :) we love this spot because are dogs can be (mostly) free to hang out and swim. We will visit again.

My husband &I totally enjoyed our stay at River Ranch. We stayed in our travel trailer under the covered concrete pad surrounded by total beauty. So quiet & peaceful. Our dog loved playing in the river. Doni was very very helpful & kind. A fantastic Host!!!! We will definitely be back for another visit hopefully in the fall!!! This is one of the nicest HIPCAMPS we have stayed at!!!

This campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Tent camping with upgraded amenities that made it easier with two kids under three.
Tent was clean, there were games and outdoor toys available for the kids, the grass was well maintained and we spent our entire weekend barefoot.
Air conditioning was available if needed, but we didn’t use it.
We were 7 minutes drive from the Georgia renaissance festival. Our entire weekend was magical and our boys’s first time camping and first renn fest was absolutely spectacular.

We had a great experience! There were some long term campers on site who were very friendly and helped us guide our camper in. We were a little concerned to have other people so close, but we never heard them. The bathroom was very nice and we enjoyed using the outdoor shower. My kids enjoyed the tree swing, playing with the dogs/cat, and running through the pasture. The owner was very accommodating and took us to see all the animals even in the rain. She invited my daughter to bottle feed a calf. We were close enough to spend a day in Chattanooga and a day at the battlefield, with time left to relax at the campsite. If you want a true campground experience, this is not it. But if you want an adventure that is a little different and have an idea what to expect, it is great! I do recommend bringing some boots/outdoor shoes because you are literally camping in a pasture and your feet will get dirty.
