This site is a singular rental. You will have it to yourself. You may choose to camp with friends in which there is space for an Rv and a pull behind or two small rvs. It can also be used to tent camp. There is a small shed with a full bunk on bottom and a twin on top. A table with two chairs and electric fireplace. There is in addition, a small A/C unit in the shed. It is a small space with nothing but outlets and a small refrigerator. You will need to bring all of your essentials. Pillows/Sheets/Linens/towels are not provided. The bath house is steps away. You will need towels/rags/soap/toilet paper and all essentials. It is merely a toilet, sink, and shower.
There is a Weber charcoal grill available on site. Bring your essentials.

If you are driving N/NW on David's Home Church Rd, it is exactly 2 miles on the right from where you turned onto the road. The gate will be closed, please close the gate back when you leave.

We really appreciated having the gas grill/charcoal combo grill on site to cook dinners on and there is plenty of space to play some yard games (cornhole, frisbee etc). We will absolutely come back!"

FREE FIREWOOD FOR LIMITED TIME: I have more split oak firewood than I know what to do with. While it lasts, campers can take as much as they need for free. The wood is piled at the site.
Our homestead is home to our family, chickens, and a livestock guardian dog.
We also have a small orchard and a garden.
Most of our 12+ acres are wooded and our property backs up to thousands of acres of public forest land owned by Clemson University. A trail connects our backyard to the main network of hiking/mountain biking trails in Clemson Forest. For those familiar with the forest, our property is in the vicinity of Wildcat Technical, Wounded Road, and Chainbreaker trails.
As private and wooded as our property is, we are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Clemson and less than 10 minutes from the small towns of Central and Six Mile. Lakes Hartwell and Keowee are also short drives.
We currently offer a single campsite, which can accommodate several tents or a camper van. Our campsite features a composting toilet outhouse, and water is available from spigots at our house. Though fairly close to our house, the campsite has a very private feel due to being completely surrounded by a hardwood forest.

Learn more about this land:One can expect a wonderful wilderness experience at Earthganic Farm’s riverside camping. The path down to the sites is drivable in a truck, SUV, or van. There’s always the option to park up at the house and walk down (it’s a ten minute walk from the house to the river) and if you let us know ahead of time, we can bring your camping stuff down for you. We have two single kayaks that we rent for $15/day and you can put them in right on property and kayak up and down the river. There are walking/dirt biking trails through pine forest and nice hardwoods down by the river. The brave can take dips in the river. Just down the street there is a boat access ramp for canoes, kayaks, and flat bottom boats.

We camped out of our truck , campsites for tents were a a very short walk from parking. Flat sites and very quiet. Two super friendly dogs greeted us when arriving. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Would happily stay here again! Only a 15 min drive to Clemson and a short drive to any and all things nature.

3 nights at Lakefront get away
We took our pop up camper for 3 nights and it was very private and relaxing and had all the hook ups we needed! Our dog loved laying on the dock and my wife loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. I of course enjoyed fishing. Caught bass on a black trick worm about 3 foot out from bank.
The gravel down to the fire is a little loose and I busted my butt lol so be careful where you step! We did have a truck come through behind us around 7am to go fishing.. which I get since it’s a shared drive so not a big bother. We will definitely go back!

had a great experience camping on hudson’s land! my friend and i had our original stay about an hour away unfortunately fall through LATE at night and the host was more than accommodating despite us arriving past midnight and only booking the stay about two hours prior. he even fought the wasps out of the outhouse for us :) the campsite is great and the forest behind it is lovely— would absolutely return. 10/10 + bonus points for ursa, the adorable fluffy farm dog!

Got stuck in Atlanta traffic on our way up so we were unable to set up our tent. It was so nice to have the bunkhouse with a forced air ac system when we got back from our event. We loved having a full bathroom and the views (and sounds) were incredible. We enjoyed our short time there immensely. Weekend Trip to 3 Creeks Camp and Nature Preserve
Damon was a nice host that offered assistance when needed. I stayed in the Creek Campsite and it was a joy! The property is beautiful and he has a web that was nice to sit on and look at the stars. Easy to navigate in and out of the site (even with a little sedan). Only stayed for one night, but it just so happened to be a night full of music and a light show.

This is the second time going to Camp Clatworthy and it was just as serene as last time. Plenty of firewood on hand, a clean primitive site, and one heck of a view. Though I wasn't as successful as last time, Lake Legion is a perfect spot to bass fish. I recommend bringing a kayak or canoe and go explore it.

An absolutely beautiful tent camping area! Tucked inside the trees with gentle creek/waterfall, gentle sounds. I was able to make a big fire 🔥 & again the vibe was magical. No light pollution, so, falling up into the night sky. Fairies 🧚♀️ definitely live here.
I did have to 4 wheel it across a field to reach it, but, I have a Subaru so no worries.

The camp was large and very private. The tent site had room for a large tent. The outhouse was clean and very usable. There is. access to the trails directly from the camp. The surrounding background noise is very low, but if you are sensitive, a battery operated fan would probably cover the sound.(I always wonder about the noise level).
This is one of the best campsites ever.

Very private camping area which is exactly what I am looking for. Plenty of wood for the campfire which makes me want to return since that has been a problem at other places. Just have to be aware of the slight incline at the campsite which makes it interesting while trying to sleep but that is not a deterrent for me.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Cabin - Lake Hartwell
We loved the cabin! It was easy to find. Elizabeth was easy to get in touch with to ask questions. The cabin itself was great, with the hot tub, the Pac-Man, The grill, and all the thoughtful amenities provided (there were toothbrushes and the kitched had all necessary cookware!) We did not make use of the firepit (maybe next time!) but there was firewood on-site if one wanted to have a fire. The only caveat I would offer others, the spiral staircase to get to the main bedroom is very narrow, might be an issue if you have larger, heavy bags but there is sleeping space on the main floor.
