Hello Campers, We are a 125 acre property that has 36 holes of championship disc golf. The North Oconee River runs through our property as well as three ponds throughout. We have plenty of room to pitch your tents. It really depends on how far you would like to be from the bathhouse. We are 6 miles from Lake Lanier and the Chattahooce River, and a short drive to hiking/mountain biking trail heads. We have a wonderful bathhouse with restrooms, showers and laundry just a very short walk from our sites (maintained by the staff at the park). We're also pet-friendly and love our furry campers! Just add the pet fee for each pet in the extras section at check out or send us an email letting us know ahead of time and we will get that added. 4 nights at Creekside Cabin at Lake Hartwell

I have to say, this was hands-down the best organized, cleanest, easiest, most amenity-laden cabin I’ve ever rented. So many details, from the embroidered robes to the bound book of instructions and recommendations. From the kitchen appointments to the coffee. There are really too many amazing little things to list here, but you could really tell the owners absolutely care about the experience their property provides. And we went panning for gold in the creek below the back deck and even found a little! It was incredibly comfortable and lots of fun. Just make sure you’re ok with stairs and aren’t too large to fit the spiral to the loft. I honestly cannot think of a single improvement to make. Didn’t even matter that it rained so much, because there was plenty left to do inside.

Our stay at Hertzen Platz was absolutely wonderful! The host was warm and welcoming, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Cabin was absolutely gorgeous, Susan and her cleaning lady was very accommodating, especially considering we made last minute reservations. The cabin and location were pretty good, my only complaints would be that the gas fireplace didn't seem to work, and the hot tub was an inflatable tub instead of a full size hot tub, and we couldn't seem to find the remote for the downstairs television. These slight issues aside, the cabin itself was still quite lovely and we enjoyed our time there.

Gary was so welcoming and kind! My partner and I really enjoyed our one night getaway in the woods! It was peaceful and super close to Helen! We both loved the spaciousness of the tent and amenities provided. The coffee maker was a welcome addition as well as the hot tub! However, keep in mind that the hot tub is not by the campsite, but near the host's house, so bring a swimsuit! I read the reviews prior, so I knew this. The host's house is far enough away to feel private, but close enough to have some peace of mind. He has several dogs as a reviewer mentioned, but they are SUPER sweet and friendly. The only time I heard them bark was when he was on his way to bring us our delicious breakfast! Don't go in expecting something super fancy. This is camping...but in comfort! I wasn't feeling very good when we decided last minute to camp, so this was just what I needed. Nature with some little comforts of home and security. Thank you Gary. We truly appreciate your hospitality and the effort you put into making your guests feel comfortable and welcome! You're awesome!

This was the best experience, we were able to have a girls trips group of (4) Gary was the most amazing, he accommodated us graciously, we were able to check in at 9pm he was able to make an appearance and show us around the camp site and communicated how we would like breakfast in the morning which was incredible it was presented beautifully and of course it’s taste was outstanding we felt very welcomed very safe and comfortable he was even able to help us start our fire! Weekend Trip to Tiny Home Way

Joni’s place was very cute and fit the bill for what we were looking for a quiet weekend stay! About thirty to forty minutes from great areas like Dahlonega and Blairsville, we got to explore both town and forest and have a cozy place to crash. Be mindful you can see the other tiny homes if you’re looking for something extremely quiet.
