3 nights at J and P Creekside Retreat

A very pleasant place, great for relaxing. The place is very well-equipped and clean. All spots have 110-volt power, extremely useful for charging phones and using some cooking equipment. Firewood is very cheap and delivered to your spot. It has a bathroom and a separate shower. It also has a very well-equipped cabin with everything you need and air conditioning. I will definitely return to this hipcamp.

We loved our stay at Heart of Cortez. Emilie and her mom were wonderful hosts. Very kind and helpful. The space made you feel like you were part of this quaint little fishing village, yet everything you need or could want like the beautiful Anna Maria Island is nearby.

Weekend Trip to Brainy And Footsy Beach Pad

We had a wonderful stay at this RV campsite! The site was fully equipped with 50 amp electric, water, and sewer hookups that worked perfectly. The fully fenced-in yard with a locking gate gave us a nice sense of privacy and security, and the shed on site was a helpful bonus for storing items. It’s located on a busy road, and backing in was a little tricky, but it was manageable, and once we were settled in, we really appreciated the space and setup. It was a quiet, comfortable spot, and we’ll definitely stay here again!

Camping at J&P Creekside Retreat was a wonderful experience! The campsites are very large and all have fire pits plus the outdoor shower is great with hot water. Hosts John and Patty are friendly and really make you feel welcome. The retreat is located on the Shell Creek and the entire place is truly a little piece of country paradise!

Silver Bullet Stables is a gem! Our family of four had a wonderful time here. We loved seeing and petting all the animals. Everyone on the farm was so kind to show us around. The land was beautiful, we camped right next to the fire which was nice. Bonus that there was a lounge area with couches and old western shows playing, a bathroom/shower as well. My kids loved it all. We can’t wait to go back!

Eric is the best! Very helpful and communicative host and went beyond anything we expected in assisting us with an RV tire issue. Downtown Fort Myers is about a 20-minute drive and has many local restaurants and shops if you want to go out and about. They typically have events on the weekends like Art Walk and Music Walk! We are a 20-minute drive from Babcock Ranch which is the first solar-powered town in America. It is a community open to the public that has several walking/biking trails, a beautiful lake for kayaking/fishing, and a small dog park. They also have a restaurant (Lakehouse Kitchen & Bar) that looks out over the water and live entertainment on certain days of the week! If you are looking for a full farm-to-table experience, Buckingham Farms is 20 minutes from us and is a 85-acre farm with fresh produce grown hydroponically! We are also about 20 minutes from 31 Produce/Cracker Shack Cafe which is a local U-Pick farm that has seasonal fruits/vegetables available, as well as a restaurant, farm animals, and "gem mining"! With just a 1 to 2-minute drive, we have two parks, Nalle Grade Park and Pop Ash Creek Preserve, for those who enjoy nature walks, fishing, or birding. There are also a handful of other nature preserves and parks in the local area that are around a 20 to 25-minute drive!
