Homosassa is an old Florida fishing town that is a hidden gem along the gulf coast, this site is nestled quietly at the head of the river on our shared residential property. This location is close to the head springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator.
The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. This is a residential area and is very quiet. You can see the layout of the property in the photos from an aerial view as well as other photos of the setup.
This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. We have kayaks and paddleboards INCLUDED with our site or bring your own to paddle the springs and take a chance at seeing a manatee up close and personal or catching some fish. We love to share our space with like minded outdoorsy people who respect nature and like to relax in the outdoors. This is not a party place, loud music or late nights aren't acceptable.

Very nice setup. Close to the springs, restaurants and shopping if needed. Dock area is very nice. Comfy chairs and a table. The water is crystal clear so you can see all of the varieties of fish. Didn’t see any manatees at this spot as the weather is warming up. Kayaks and paddle boards are available and in good shape. The site itself is large with a nice table setup, solo fireplace and hookups. Site is level which is nice. Only met Alonda once as we pulled in but we had no issues so there was no need to bother her. The resident dog Jazzie, was friendly with my dog and she was very sweet. Excellent experience overall.

Lovely farm and great RV layout! We booked 3 nights but only stayed 1 due to our dog. There are some sort of lil dingle berries all over the farm that were matted into our dogs fur. We literally pulled out hundreds of them numerous times. They are about the size of a peppercorn. I assume it is a grass seed of some sort. Great place just not for pets & dogs.

Loved every thing about this spot- serenity quiet & peaceful neighborhood, only a few steps to great paddling on the springs with a dock for our use, Homosassa River and manatees galore! Easy bike ride to Old Homasassa, close to grocery store, Walmart and great seafood market! Our host, Alonda was accessible and polite!

The, area was very quiet. We really enjoyed it. Felt very much like the Florida that you don’t see when you’re a tourist. Large trees, hanging moss lots of foliage. The lot was level, had everything for hookups. Remember to bring your 50 to 30 amp reducer. The water was clear, we used the kayak and went for a beautiful day on the water.

Tyler’s land was amazing! Beautiful views, peace and quiet, wonderful amenities, close enough to everything we wanted to do without being in the middle of town & a 5 star host! Our 1st 2 days there were other campers on the property but there was still plenty of room to feel like there was a semblance of privacy (this is our main reason we love HipCamp- to avoid the “campground” feel. Not once did we feel like we were in their space or they ours) I was able to set up my Starlink and get a great signal for work days. The outdoor bathroom and shower were amazing touches! It was so peaceful to sit around a campfire down by the river and listen to the fish jump while we enjoyed the starry sky! Several days my husband enjoyed canoeing around while I worked.

We had a great stay at the farm. It was fun to see the cows and donkeys. Nice to be camping without other campers around. The property is very nice and serene. It is a farm though, so keep that in mind. We had no issues. I recommend the duck eggs for breakfast!

The hosts created a peaceful HipCamp experience. The site was level and fairly secluded. We had access to the dock where I was able to have my morning coffee and just chill. The site is just minutes away from the State Park with Manatee viewings and a nice walking trail. There are also several bike trails all within 30 minutes (would recommend the Withlacoochee Trail just north of Crystal Springs - paved with areas to stop and picnic).

Loved staying here so much. What a beautiful place. The animals were all so sweet and well cared for and clearly happy. The farmhands were wonderful. Margarita was wonderful and accommodating to my requests to change my stay (I was moving - problems arose). I am new to having a motorhome and Rob went above & beyond to help me figure it out. He's great.
I wish I could've stayed longer to experience the misty morning field again, with the animals revealing as the mist evaporated with the sunrise. So very, very beautiful.
Only thing - Wifi needs an extender; doesn't have range enough to be useful in current location without one.

Great Setting, Full Hookup, Beautiful Dock Area. Host sent very detailed message about the location, rules, & amenities they provided which were greatly appreciated. Location is close to activities & restaurants in Homosassa Springs. Lots of nice details set up at the site like the picnic table, fire pit, lighting, seating on the deck, etc. that made it a very nice stay. Weather got very cold so we were not able to enjoy the dock as much as we would have.
Definitely would recommend to others & we would stay here again.

We loved staying at this farm! We purchased treats to feed the cows/donkeys and our 2 year old thought this was the greatest! We also purchased duck eggs and they were so good.
They do have untraditional water/electric hook-ups, but we had no trouble connecting.

I just stayed at Tyler’s land and it was absolutely wonderful! The property is stunning with so many fun things to do—you can truly relax and enjoy every moment. I was also impressed with how thoughtfully stocked everything was, including free personal hygiene products that made the stay even more comfortable.
