Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

J&P is a beautiful, quiet, and pleasant place. The host was very helpful and friendly. My dog had a unique experience, free range, playing with other dogs, and the kids had a blast fishing and exploring. There were no mosquitoes. All the facilities were clean and accessible. I highly recommend it. We will visit again.

Wife and I love Leah’s place. It was quiet with water in site and 50 amp electric service just like in the photo. Will definitely come back to enjoy it again!!!. Host is very understanding of your wishes, was very nice to us. We stayed in a tent under the oak trees and was very quiet. Also had a dumpster for the trash and all extremely clean. Thanks Leah for sharing your land so others can enjoy it…

Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

Phenomenal spot!! 10/10 would recommend. Especially creekside A campsite. We basically had the whole back area to ourselves. Very secluded, very quiet. The bathroom was super clean and had AC if you want to sneak in for a quick break from the heat. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. We rented the two man Kayak and went up the river a couple miles. Fish were jumping out the water is was so full of fish. John was an excellent Host and I even offered us to stay a little longer after check out since he didn’t have anyone else coming in after us. We paid for 4 bundles of wood and John’s son damn cut us down a whole tree!!! lol awesome:) we had a blast, definitely lots of mosquitoes for about an hour after the sun goes down being by the river and all but after that clear sky’s and good times. Definitely would recommend any family especially with kids to stay at this campsite. They even had a little trees house for the kiddos to chill in. Very cool. Good WiFi service too. This Memorial Day will be remembered forever. Thanks John!!!

Weekend Trip to Bell Oaks Ranch 5 min from Beach

Taylor’s land was a clean but still natural camping experience. The horses are well kept and cute. We had to change our RV size (our 21’ RV for our 40’ Motor coach) and was no problem at all they were able to accommodate us in a bigger size spot. The area was quiet of outside noises but you can hear the animals at night, even a little owl visit us while we were cooking outside. My dogs and us felt safe and relaxed. Took us around 5 minutes to get to the beach, no traffic, no crowds. I highly recommend you to visit them and stay the night.

This place is amazing, it’s such a hidden gem. I wanted a quiet place to erase my mind since I have been working a lot lately, for three days I could connect my self with nature, have a quality time with my boyfriend with no screens. Just us, god and the little animals in the woods.

Dennis is very kind and did an amazing job building the cabins. The surrounding is so beautiful and quiet. We saw a lot of animals, even a big alligator in the pont near our house! The campfire place was awesome and we saw the most beautiful sunset. Definitely would recommend to spend a night in this wonderful place!

1 night at Healing Tree Homestead

Camping went smoothly. I really enjoyed seeing the plant nursery at this site, and connecting a bit with folks who used to work at Echo, just before taking a Global Village tour of the Echo gardens. If I'd had a little more time on my hands, and planned further in advance, I think I would have also really enjoyed helping out a bit at Healing Tree Homestead.

Tiny Treasures was a blast! Had everything we needed for a family of 5. Definitely would book again. Neighbors were friendly. Host was responsive and checked in to make sure our stay was exceptional. Great location near lots of things to do. They even had recommendations for restaurants and activities.

I was blown away by the care put into this site! Has pretty much all you need, very clean, and the host is so responsive! The private feeling of the site, the grill and the hot tub really added to our little getaway! Super close drive to find some neat shark teeth too!

John's creekside property is a slice of paradise! And John is the ultimate host making sure we felt completely at home on his beautiful property. Love that there are kayaks available, plenty of space to sit,relax, surrounded by beautiful flowers, plants, and birds viewing the creek, not only at our beautiful site but in the large backyard where the outdoor bar, firepit, treehouse, and dock with sundeck were. The half bath was airconditioned and impeccable and the outdoor shower has a privacy fence. Our site even had a hammock, charcoal grill, and plenty of chairs around firepit and tables. A true gem. Perfect for family gatherings!

13 nights at J and P Creekside Retreat

This was our last round of camping in Florida before heading north to Georgia, and J&P Creekside Retreat is an awesome place for camping! We have called it “magical” … with the majestic oak trees along the Shell Creek and all kinds of fauna and wildlife near the creek banks. The hosts John and Patty are friendly, kind, helpful, and attentive to any of your needs, and son JJ goes out of his way to keep the grounds so beautiful. If you are looking for a great camping retreat in Southwest Florida, this is the one! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Weekend Trip to Rasayana Cove

We had a fantastic time staying in Dennis’s “treehouse”. It’s a wonderful, rustic cabin. Very comfortable and clean. The property is beautiful, secluded and well maintained. We saw deer, turkey, gators, and many birds. We loved listening to the owls at night, and were lucky enough to get a late night rainstorm. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

We had a relaxing and fun time at J & P’s campground! He has it set up with chairs, picnic tables, and a hammock which is so nice to have all that already there so we could get our camper parked and then chill out and enjoy the peaceful campsite. We were able to use the lights and fan in our camper but the voltage was not strong enough to run our AC. We stayed on A which has a kayak access at the site and it’s just a couple minutes walk to the dock and swimming area. Unfortunately we couldn’t have a fire because there was a “no burn” in effect because of the drought FL is in right now. We only stayed one night but I would’ve loved to stay one or 2 more nights :) We hope to go back!

We are steps away from a beautiful canal that leads out to Pine Island Sound, and easy to get to Sanibel and Captiva islands! We frequently paddle board and fish the canal and sound. We can provide a boat taxi to Cayo Costa State Park, Cabbage Key, Sanibel or Captiva Islands! Our community has a boat ramp and pool available for additional cost. We have a portable fire pit that can be placed anywhere. Bring your own wood. Full Outdoor kitchen available. Shower and toilet in the shed with a full size kitchen sink, as well. Carport as a common area with table and chairs, flat top griddle/ smoker/ fridge/freezer for sunrise breakfast, and sun shades to keep the rays away on hot days! Pool and boat launch available, as well as a spot to dock your boat! Screened lanai as a common area. Bikes available to use. Please check with us to be sure your RV will fit! We are doing some improvements after Hurrican Ian ravished us, so keep in mind some construction will be ongoing! We always have time for a boat ride though!
