We are one mile south of the NE FL Regional Airport and it's not unusual to see a biplane practising barrel rolls for an air show. You'll have the camp site all to yourself--we sometimes need to water the garden, but otherwise avoid the camping area when it's occupied. Enjoy a variety of seating areas on our half acre lot full of fruit trees and flowers, or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank.
We're one block off US1 and 10-15 minutes by car to beach and downtown. Hang out around our stone fire pit or sit at our 6 person table with solar powered lighted umbrella. Wifi, electric and water included. Porta potty and outdoor shower with 8 gal. hot water tank. Two large outdoor sinks, one with 4 gal. hot water tank, the other one shares the 8 gal. tank with the shower. Two locked gates in our chain link fence allow most RVs the option to pull through or back in. Water and 30A electric hookup located at corner of concrete pad, next to the Jennair gas grill. Relax on our Broyhill couch and easy chairs under the awning, and enjoy our latest addition, a fire table. Hang out in the new gazebo with mosquito netting and fabric panels on a Trex deck with a polycarbonate roof. Keep an eye out for hawks, owls, osprey and ibis. If you are extra lucky, you might spot our resident gopher tortoise! (If you do, please enjoy from a distance, they are protected.)

This 2-acre lot will put you in touch with nature! You will see and hear owls, many species of birds in a quiet, peaceful setting. Bluebird boxes, bird feeder and birdbath are near the RV site, so you will enjoy watching nature right at your campsite. During hummingbird season, you will observe these tiny amazing birds enjoying our homemade nectar. Turtles enjoy roaming the property also. The camper pictured is in the spot where your RV will be parked. A firepit and grate are at the campsite.

This was our third trip out here. We usually book one of the larger sites, but this one was perfect for a weekend with my son.
Site #2 is simple, quiet, and private. Easy drive up access. Plenty of room for a tent and a solid fire setup. The river access is the highlight. Calm water. Clean shoreline. Great spot for morning coffee and winding down at night.
If you are bringing a larger group, book one of the bigger sites on the property. For two people, this one is dialed in.
Host communication was clear and consistent as always.
We will be back.

Stephen is super nice and the site is easy to get in and out. We stayed 3 nights. It was nice and quiet. We liked the patio and the picnic table and everything was nice and clean. Wifi worked great. The dump station was a bit of a challenge as it sits high so a bit difficult but doable. We appreciated the full hook up. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay this is really right in the middle of all the springs and if you like to go off road this is definitely the place to be. Our host was accessible at all times very prompt in the replies because we had a freeze while here( concerned for the pipes we had ice hanging off our rig in the morning we woke up to a temperature of 21 and by mid day it was still only 32. So weired for Florida. The only caution as advised by the host the only negative is the pedestal and sewer hook-ups were a good 35 ft from our rig set up. As long as you plan for that you should be good to go.

Our small men’s Christian group camped at Blackwater during the freeze of 2026, and it was an amazing experience despite the cold. The large pavilion was a game changer, cutting most of the high winds and giving us a great place to gather.
The sunsets were incredible, and the full moon at night paired with the firepit, adult beverages, and campfire stories made it a trip we won’t forget. We’ve camped at hundreds of campgrounds, and Blackwater is easily one of the best in Florida. Clean bathrooms, a great host, and well-maintained grounds made it easy to unwind and unplug from everyday life. We’ll definitely be back each year.

I have been on the road for 2 months and I needed a break. I booked two nights and it was exactly what I was expecting. I can't describe the tranquility. I stayed in the back lot which had the perfect amount of privacy. I had a view of the farm, a pond and forest. It was so peaceful. I enjoyed walking with my dog around the lot and over to see the goats and chickens. I wish the weather had cooperated because the nights were overcast but I am certain the view of the stars is amazing.
It is so close to all the Saint Augustine attractions...I mean less than 10 minutes to 95 and downtown but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The host was very accommodating and gave me several suggestions for local activities.
The other thing I want to mention is how safe I felt. I am a solo female traveler and I felt so safe I slept with my back doors of my van open...all night.
I plan on staying here again.
