Monarch Manor Farm

Monarch Manor Farm is not a stack and pack camper on top of camper place. It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. RV's, Campers, Tents, Class A, B, C, Campervans, Class B Plus, Super C, fifth wheelers, Toy haulers, Travel trailers, pop-up campers and conversions,
welcomed.
Although the property can accommodate more than 50 sites, Rick keeps it at only 3 spacious sites around his organic spring fed pond stocked with Tilapia, Largemouth bass, Red ear and Bluegill. Those who enjoy catch and release or catch and eat are welcome. There is also an abundance of blackberries and elderberries you are welcomed to pick which usually begins mid May. Guests can also enjoy many different types of wildlife, birds, chickens and even Black Angus cows meandering around.
Monarch Manor Farm is also an official Monarch Butterfly weigh station and safe respite for migrating butterflies. These beautiful pollinators have been on Earth about 175 million years from what we can gather from fossils. Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment.
Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again.
All three sites are right around the pond with great views. A combination of large live oaks, shade and sun All sites also have a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Site 1 has your choice of 110 and 30amp power. There is no power at site 2, 2A or 3. The bath house is equipped with 2 showers. One shower is heated by geothermal means and the other by a tankless hot water heater for evening showers. There is a foot pedal hand sink, portable-potty, and seating. All water is filtered and drinkable. There is a fish cleaning station equipped with a garden hose. Only 22 minutes from either Ocala, Fl or Gainesville, Fl. and 5min from Hwy. 75
We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends. We also offer booking larger groups of any size or all three all three sites at once. Bring your yoga, breathing, drum circle retreat or any other event you may have and we will make it happen for you. The only rules here are Peace, kindness, safety and security. DEVIL'S DEN SPRING

Visit one of North America's most prehistoric places, Devil's Den Spring! This underground spring inside a dry cave has been home to many extinct animal fossils dating back to the Pleistocene Age, which are on display at The University of Florida's Museum of Natural History.

During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee on your way there.
Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too.
There are also several Diving with the manatee tours available.
This is all only a short drive from camp.
You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at the camp.
Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes.
It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore Crystal River.
We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year.
Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's.

Amenities such as sink, portable toilet, fire pit and picnic table are available. Plenty of room to park your boat trailer, RV, horse trailer or toy hauler. Your first bundle of wood is on us! Feed and pet ducks, turkeys, geese and chickens ! Check out the Extras tab during your booking. Sign up for a farm tour ! Canoes available for rent.
