My dream to camp on the beach has been met!! Me and my 3 pups had a grand Christmas holiday. Yes, 98 is close to the campsite, but who cares if you camp on the beach! The best part is no one else camp near you. The area is what I call “old Florida”!! No high rises and not swarming with people. I’ll be back

Really enjoyed this spot. We were passing through for a few days and needed to be in between friends that were located in PCB and apalachicola. It’s walking distance from public beach, great food/ Dollar General/Ace Hardware near by and very quiet at night. I mirror what others have said about unevenness of Pad and sewer hookups being a bit high. Probably only challenging for those of us with smaller travel trailers. Having two water supply hookups, 50,30,20 amp electrical hookups and this awesome shed with RV accessories extras, a washing machine, chairs, table, hoses, etc. makes up for any of the small site inconveniences. Can’t wait to stay here in the spring/summer so we can really enjoy the area. We recommend this spot and the host was great, instructions were great and communication was timely. Thanks for a great stay!

Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there.
Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

I loved camping at this location. First, I travel with my dog. So, the fenced in yard on three sides was nice. It was open and spacious. Plenty of space for larger RVs. Mine is a small teardrop and the lot could have held a much larger RV. The hookups were easy to use. and on the right side of the lot. So, you back your RV into the spot. Then, you have lots of space in front of your RV for set up of tents, TV, grill, etc. Now, let's talk about 'why' you would choose this spot. It is a very short walk to the beach. I made that walk three or four times a day. I went in November. So, the beach was empty and the weather perfect for both football and relaxing. Plus, Shipwreck Raw Bar is close if you want to eat out instead of grilling. I will definitely stay here again!

We love the beach & being able to stay so close to it in our RV with our pets & with privacy was awesome. Wonderful, spot. Crazily enough, this was our first time using all of the full hookup options, for we have been basically boon docking for a year, so you can imagine just how awesome it was to have all of those things accessible. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on our bicycles, pedaling to Shipwreck for a delicious lunch and even exploring the beautiful Veterans Park just a short distance away & best yet, having such close beach access within a short walking distance. At night, we used the fishing cleaning table as our cooking spot & then enjoyed our meals outside under the stars.
The only thing we have to complain about has nothing to do with our camp site, it was just so sad to be at the beach during a red tide. We’ve heard about them, but never experienced one first hand. We walked the beach on the days we were there, but did not get to swim or put our feet in the ocean, due to the abundance of dead fish and sea creatures floating and laying dead onshore. The town came by daily to rake them up, and on our last day, sadly there was enough to fill a dump truck. :(
We hope to return some day and get that ocean swim & this place would definitely be a repeat place to stay. Thanks for sharing your peace of beach life with us.

Our family loved the proximity to the beach and to the Shipwreck Oyster Bar-walking distance to both. Having access to a washing machine was such a great bonus-saved us from having a bunch of dirty laundry to deal with when we got home from our trip. And having WiFi was great for our student that is enrolled in a summer class. Nice large site. Being a block off the main road and July 4th weekend, it was surprisingly quiet.

Corner paradise one block from the beach. Well maintained, concrete slab with full hook ups (30 & 50 Amp) plus WIFI (great for remote work). Short walk to the beach and a DG store. Make sure you visit the Ship Wreck restaurant, you wont be disappointed. Outdoor shower and washer are available. Easy access in and out. Motion sensor lights for convenience. Very nice location and will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time camping on Kelly’s spot. We had our 3 grandsons and with 3 sides being fenced we didn’t have to worry about them getting out of the yard. It is on a quiet street with very little traffic. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach so if you have a lot of stuff be sure to bring a wagon to get it all over there. I was a little nervous about having to cross the busy highway with 3 kids but the drivers were very nice and usually stopped for us to get across. It was just what we needed. Only thing that would have been would nice would have been a picnic table or somewhere to sit and eat. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

My family and I loved this spot! My husband said we will probably be putting it on the list to visit every year. Recent got a conversion van and we let the kids tent camp. If you can live without amenities I highly recommend this place. We loved when people would honk as they drove by. Previous campers left glass bottles in the fire pit (lame) and burned wood with nails-we did pick up any nails/trash we found. The tide went down at night and we got to see wild hermit crabs, tiny shrimps, and crabs. Dolphins were in the bay during the day too. Lovely spot and cant wait to come back!

Personally we loved it! Short walk to the beach, to shipwreck and a bike ride to store. The site is pretty level but does require some manipulation. Theres 2 water spigots both located at the front of the camper (a 25ft hose should suffice but a 50 would get it done.) Power is located at the rear as well as the septic hook up. Make sure to bring septic hose support so you can fix the slight incline.
Grass perfectly mowed, storage buikding on site made putting stuff out of sight easier and a washing machine to stay ahead of the laundry.
Neighbors are fantastic and it made us feel a little easier knowing they were around.
We highly recommend the site and will absolutely be back soon.

We had a great stay at this Hipcamp spot—just a block from the beach and super pet-friendly! Our dogs loved it, and we appreciated the little touches like provided poo bags. The site felt private and peaceful, with a hammock and fire pit (though we didn’t get a chance to use them this time). Full hook-ups and a level site made setup easy. Would definitely come back!
