It was a pretty cute little spot, the creek was probably the best part, we loved sitting beside it. The little shelter made the rain even better, we stayed inside the tent and listened to the rain while My husband played guitar

Really nice spot right next to a little creek.  Great fire pit and sufficient space.   Would highly recommend and would love to come back

The Farnch: A developing Destination Farm   Come have a picnic under a tree, spend a few hours and go for a hike in Hudson Highland Gateway Park, a Historic 352-acre park offering hiking, birding, cross-country skiing, fishing & snowshoeing. He have rods and tackle to rent or buy if you don’t have your own. If you’re having a really great time and the kids just don’t want to leave, join us for an evening of sleeping under the stars in the forest at one of our campsites. We also host local Scout Groups, and Appellation Trail hikers. Hikers know that we are located about 2 miles south of the route 9 trail crossing at the Appalachian Market and offer pick up and drop off service from there on weekends. Hudson Valley is a wonderful 4 season go to location and being about an hour away from New York City you won’t spend hours in the car before being able to stretch your legs.

Heaven Comes to Earth Wildlife Nook

We are tucked into a hidden slice of heaven on earth and situated up a ninth-of-a-mile driveway,
on 2 acres with a pond,
 in front of an early 1800s cemetery, on
the south side of 276 acres of NYS DEC White Pond Multiple Use Area, giving us the feel of 280 acres of heaven on the edge of a one-mile fresh water spring fed pond that is
open to the public as a carry in-carry out recreation area in use summer and winter.

 We have great blue heron and eagles and otter and hawk and deer and owl and all sorts of critters and flora here with us. This is country. 53 miles north of NYC in the Croton-Harmon Watershed District.

We are on the north side of Nimham Mountain, complete with its firetower to climb and see the Hudson River Valley
and its 1126 acres of NYS DEC Multiple Use Area of
mountain bike & equestrian & hiking trails.

 Some of the only petrogylphs
on the east coast are a 2 minute drive and a
hike from here to Hawk Rock.

The largest effigy of Buddha in the western hemisphere is nearby at 2020 Route 301, Town of Kent, at the American Association of Buddhists  headquarters and open to the public 9am - 5pm with its' temple, library, schools, meditation rooms, monastery, grounds to walk, Kwan Yin koi pool, and a free meal on weekends.

The Appalachian Trail & Fahnestock State Park are both 20 minutes away, as are the Taconic Parkway or the Town of Southeast MetroNorth train station, or Danbury, CT, or The Great Swamp or Thunder Ridge in Patterson, NY, or the village of Pawling, NY.

We are right on the edge of 1 mile, freshwater pond perfect for kayaking, sailboats, paddle boards, canoes, fishing (anyone over 12 needs a permit) and SWIMMING, with no motorboats allowed, except 5 HP electric.  

We are 20 minutes from Thunder Ridge Ski Slope and Paintball.  Also 25 minutes from the Hudson River and the village of Cold Spring for access to Breakneck Ridge hiking, river kayaking, motor boating, river cruises, shoppes, restaurants, farmers' market on Saturdays 8:30am to 1pm at Boscobel, Hudson Valley Shakespeare in Garrison, & Philipstown Depot Theater & Garrison Art Center in Philipstown - just across the river from West Point, & More !

We are easy to reach from the Taconic Parkway or i84, 53 miles north of NYC, on this east side of the Hudson River - 40 minutes from the Bear Mtn Bridge, and 45 minutes southeast of Poughkeepsie, 40 minutes from Peekskill, 1 hour southeast Kingston or Saugerties & the Catskill Mtns in NY or the Berkshire Mtns in MA & their MassMoCA & Mahaiwe or Jacobs Pillow, 30 minutes from Newburgh, 90 minutes to Troy and Albany or Woodstock.

Site 1 (Zen Paradise) is a fully fenced-in campsite and no visibility from the house. Fence gates lead to a creek and a forested area. Site 2 (Best Kept Secret) is located in the forested area is completely secluded.

Pitch your tent and pick our apples by the pond on Westchester’s oldest working farm. You’ll enjoy complete privacy and quiet. 

The Hawkey family has worked Sundial Farm for nearly half a century, from indoor plants to perennials to dressage school, to organic veggies, selling antiques, hosting a local CSA and farm stand, and most recently native plant landscaping with PlanIt Wild.

Sundial Farm can also be seen in many Hollywood productions, such as Blackkklansmen, The Hunters, and American Gangster.

*You may come across reviews talking about the farm stand and animals. Sadly those are no longer here, so stock up on goodies before you arrive. 

Cathedral Acre

2 full hook up rv sites in the heart of central Long Island only 30 minutes to NYC, 15 minutes from beaches, and short walk to upscale Garden City with 5 Star restaurants, nightlife, mall, & family activities. 

Take the Long island railroad into Manhattan (30 min ride). Nearby bus depot and parkways/interstate highway. 

The property is a secluded suburban home with a large parking pad that has been set up to host 2-3 large rvs.  This includes 30/50 amp electric, water,  sewer, and Wifi.  

Aside from the parking pad there is no access to the rest of the property or amenities.. the main attraction here is the central location for rv’ers looking for long term stays at a full hook up site in Long Island since there arent any options in this area.
