Tree huggers unite! This is the promised land. Consisting of two separate forests, the wooded bastions of Mother Nature rise tall and strong in these parts. Each tree is beautiful in its own way, but perhaps no trunk is better for squeezing than those in the 200-year old white pine grove in the Whittemore Recreation Area of the Peoples Forest.

We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.

We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.

Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

I will ensure the unit is delivered to you with all its accessories in working order so you won't have any problems. I always suggest guests ask any necessary questions so they can use it without any issues. On the day of arrival, you will receive another message to refresh your knowledge of how to use the campervan.
Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. This campervan has all the qualities of a house, with the only difference being that you're on wheels—something truly delightful. I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. Each campsite can be rented as a single tent or family camping with two tents. both tents can be furnished with either 2 twin beds or 1 Queen bed. Message me ahead of time with your needs and I will set it up accordingly. All blankets and sheets are provided. Each tent has a mini fridge, Keurig which comes with a few kcups, cream and sugars to get you started. There is a 24" TV with Alexa firestick and DVD player. We have a large catalog of movies if you'd like to borrow them. There is a small breakfast table for 2 and a 3 drawer dresser that doubles as a night table with a lamp . Outside the tent your area has a gas grill and picnic table, a camp box which contains pots pans, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups and more. A campbox inventory list is posted in the pictures. There is a fire pit with adirondack chairs, sit by the fire and roast Marshmallows we provide everything you need for smores including the sticks.
Bath towels and toiletries are provided there is a large shower with dressing room and a deluxe flushable Porta potty with a sink and paper towels on the property.

About the Space
Welcome to our lakeside treehouse retreat on the shores of historic Lake Garfield—named after President Garfield, who once summered here. This unique stay is tucked away in the beautiful Berkshires at 1,200 feet elevation, making for cool, crisp nights and star-filled skies. Originally the boatshed for the President’s summer home, the treehouse was built 15 years ago as a cozy sleepout perfect for stargazing and unwinding in nature.
The Treehouse
Perched in the trees and draped in wisteria, the treehouse features a clear corrugated roof, full flyscreening, and canvas blinds—keeping it breezy and bug-free. There’s a comfy hanging double bed with a high-quality mattress. Please note: guests need to bring their own sheets, bedding, and pillows.

Tree huggers unite! This is the promised land. Consisting of two separate forests, the wooded bastions of Mother Nature rise tall and strong in these parts. Each tree is beautiful in its own way, but perhaps no trunk is better for squeezing than those in the 200-year old white pine grove in the Whittemore Recreation Area of the Peoples Forest.
One can only hug so many trees, however, so it’s a good thing there are lots of other things to do in the American Legion and Peoples State Forests. The trails that wind through these wooded acres will keep hikers on their feet for days on end. And the waters of the wild and scenic West Branch of the Farmington River attracts kayakers and fishers from all over Connecticut and even neighboring states. But if you want to just come and squeeze an oak, no one will fault you.

Being caught without a camera here is like showing up to potluck without a dish. You just don’t do it.When the fall foliage starts to peak, whoa. The sight of the vivid colors reflected in the unrippled lake surface is more beautiful than anything you’ve ever seen. Don’t let your significant other hear you say that, though. Pachaug is Connecticut’s largest state forest, clocking in at twodozen acres. Oh wait, excuse us, two-dozen-thousand acres! That’s 24,000 for the non-bakers here. Long story short, it’s going to take a loooong time to explore this whole place.
Pachaug is derived from the Indian term meaning bend or turn in the river. Unsurprisingly, the Pachaug River is one twisty son-of-a…headwater, probably. Anyways, this makes for excellent boating and the fish seem to like it too, if you catch our drift. And why wouldn’t they? This place is something else.

Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more.
We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.
As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures.
We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.
Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay.
Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

This Jayco RV is decorated and designed for two people who want to create a cozy getaway to relax and celebrate beautiful, unforgettable moments. It's an escape that takes you away from the routine and offers a unique experience with a vintage style where you'll feel good vibes with every breath. With the cold season upon us, the RV has built-in heating, and I've also added an electric heater to keep you warm during your stay. It has its own control panel and thermostat. On the day of arrival, you will receive another message to refresh your knowledge of how to use the campervan.
Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. This campervan has all the qualities of a house, with the only difference being that you're on wheels—something truly delightful. I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. You will love your stay with us! It's all the fun of camping with all the convenience of a hotel, whether you are camping as a couple or as a family. Each campsite can be rented as a single tent or family camping with two tents. both tents can be furnished with either 2 twin beds or 1 Queen bed. Message me ahead of time with your needs and I will set it up accordingly. All blankets and sheets are provided. Each tent has a mini fridge, Keurig which comes with a few kcups, cream and sugars to get you started. There is a 24" TV with Alexa firestick and DVD player. We have a large catalog of movies if you'd like to borrow them. There is a small breakfast table for 2 and a 3 drawer dresser that doubles as a night table with a lamp . There is an outlet on each side of the bed for charging phones
Outside the tent your area has a gas grill and picnic table, a camp box which contains pots pans, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups and more. A campbox inventory list is posted in the pictures. There is a fire pit with adirondack chairs, sit by the fire and roast Marshmallows we provide everything you need for smores including the sticks.
Bath towels and toiletries are provided there is a large shower with dressing room and a deluxe flushable Porta potty with a sink and paper towels on the property.
You are welcome to walk the property sit and relax on one of the many benches or chairs or get a game of cornhole going.

Weekend Trip to Water Forest Retreat
We adore everything about the little paradise that Nancy and Bert have built so lovingly over the years. It's an absolute respite that feels like it's in a faraway land, but within ten minutes of absolutely everything. We've stayed at the treehouse and at Hiker's Haven't, and they're equally magical. We can't say enough about the whole experience, and we'll continue to go back as often as we possibly can.

I had an incredible time at this glamping treehouse—it was truly a special experience. The host clearly thought of everything and provided an amazing, well-planned stay from start to finish. I already can’t wait to come back in the summer.
That said, this was also an excellent winter camping trip. The treehouse stayed toasty warm all night, even with outside temperatures dropping into the low 20s and strong winds. We woke up to an unexpected 3–4 inches of snow, made a fire, and cooked chocolate chip pancakes with hot coffee—it was absolutely incredible.
The hosts are great people, the experience was unforgettable, and I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something unique and memorable.

This site was perfect for us! We came with our dogs and they loved running around on the trails and in the fields - the site had a picnic table and cooking area, and we grabbed firewood, eggs, maple syrup and a few other goodies from the farm stand on the way in. David and his family were amazing hosts, checking in periodically to see if we needed anything to make our stay even more comfortable. We took advantage of the permanent tent at the site and our own tents, both were super fun - we will most definitely be back again, thank you David and family!

Weekend Trip to Glamping @ Meadow Ridge Farm
We loved this spot in the woods:) Tiffany made sure everything was ready for us upon our arrival. It was a super private and beautiful location. The kids loved visiting the cows in the morning and I especially loved the peace and quiet by the fire with my morning coffee:) We had to check out early due to dangerous wind conditions but hope to return.

2 nights at Water Forest Retreat
My husband and I loved staying at Treehouse!! If you are looking for a magical place in nature, look no further! The Treehouse is a very private and tranquil spot in the woods that is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. The hammock was by far our favorite spot to relax in and gaze up to the sky. We had perfect weather for hiking and the trails are well marked and maintained. We even got to see a deer while out on the trails! Nighttime is meant for fires and the fire pit area with tiki torches is beautiful and relaxing. We came back home recharged and refreshed. Bert and Nancy are incredible hosts with the most positive energy! They thought of every little detail and Bert was very attentive just in case we needed anything, but not intrusive. I am pretty sure we over packed lol Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Our night spent at Quentin’s treehouse was beyond phenomenal. Pictures don’t do the treehouse and the view justice and Quentin truly went above and beyond as a host! Weekend Trip to Quentins Treehouse
After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures, I wanted to have a one night getaway here for my birthday. Little did I know it would turn into something beautiful.
My boyfriend and I booked this place a few months ago, and as a surprise, my bf had contacted Quentin about setting up a romantic evening for when we got there. Quentin was beyond accommodating! It turned out he would be out of town so he had his friend help out, which was super sweet!
When we got there, it was magical! They setup the fire pit, candles everywhere, rose petals, they had a clawfoot tub converted into a hot tub out by the lake, a little table with chairs on the deck, wine, sparkling water - it was beyond. Thank you so much Quentin and Bridget for setting up the most amazing getaway for us! It was our first getaway as a couple and we couldn’t be more grateful for your hospitality and thoughtfulness. Mission (beyond) accomplished! We definitely will be back!

Weekend Trip to Quentins Treehouse
My girlfriend and I stumbled upon Quentins Treehouse a couple months back, we knew it was the getaway we desired. She obviously knew about the trip, but what she didnt know, was behind the scenes, Quentin and his friend Birgit assisted me in making the time much more than just a getaway, that made a memory for my girlfriend and I to remember for the rest of our lives. From filling up a tub with flowers and a fire underneath, to a bottle of wine and lighting up the dock. I could have asked for a better experience to celebrate my girlfriend on her birthday. We highly recommend Quentins Treehouse to anyone. He can turn the stay from just a night getaway, to a romantic abode on the lake side. Thank you again. We will return some day.

Weekend Trip to Quentins Treehouse
We had an amazing stay in Quentin’s treehouse. We arrived late but the instructions for arrival were clear and we found ourselves at a beautiful star lit lake. The treehouse was so cozy and we loved the hanging bed. Quentin was so friendly and it was wonderful to chat. We were also so excited about the paddle boards and got to explore the lake. Overall a beautiful experience and we hope to come back.

We had an amazing time at this campsite! Check-in was super easy, and the location is very secluded — it honestly felt like we were the only ones there, which made it extra peaceful.
