The Farm was built in the mid 1700's on the same track of land. Hike in or drive to your campsite. Site #5 & 6 are accessible with a 4x4. Site #3 is located in a blueberry field. It's car accessible but in close proximity to the Farm. Site #1 & 2 are Hike in sites(1/2 mile). The farm is surrounded by thousands of acres of conservancy and preserve land. Enjoy nature at its finest!! Camp in a field of fire flies or a remote site surrounded by old growth trees and Mt laurel blossoms. This is a Nature Preserve!! PRIVATE! PEACEFUL! Absolutely heaven sent! A place that will stay in your hearts forever. The property's backdrop is the lush James Goodwin forest where you can walk directly from to hiking trails. Fall asleep under the magnificent brilliance of the millions of stars, hear nothing but the sound of crickets, croaking frogs, hooting owls; see fireflies light up the night and fall asleep to the sound of the streams running right alongside the property. Watch the ariel acrobatics of the swallows swoop into the barn to feed their chicks! The two streams feed into the huge Natchaug River right across the street which is great for fishing, or spending the day at Diana's pool basking on the rocks with a picnic lunch. The area and property is perfect for hiking, horseback riding, small retreats, family gatherings all the while enjoying nature at its purest. We offer a Weber grill and large fire pit and outdoor picnic table with umbrella. You can either sleep in the barn, down in the clean stalls, or up in the barn loft. Bring supplies as if you are camping ie bedding, hammock, tent, sleeping pad or inflatable mattress. There is a long wooden table up in the barn loft that seats 14. There are games up there too, (dominos, cards, trivial pursuit etc). You may also camp outside under the starry skies. No loud music. Noise off by 10.30pm please We provide a VERY clean porta potty and the barn has electricity and running (cold) water. Bring a solar portable shower should you need.

Designed as a retreat for the modern creative, the cabin is fully off-grid but features Starlink Internet, a compost toilet and heat / AC. We do provide 5 gallons drinking / cleaning water, but during the winter no sinks or showers are operable. Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park. 15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow.

We loved camping at Ronald’s place. Very quiet and secluded. We only stayed overnight, but had the choice of his space which was fun to navigate in our SUV (if you have air suspension would recommend to jack it up for better ground clearance!). Thanks for having us!

We overnighted here for my sons birthday fishing trip. 3x 13 year olds and dad. Jocelyn was an amazing host. Super friendly and approachable. The barn is a great place for cold nights and rain. It’s a great way to plan a camping trip without worrying about rain or weather. If you are into trout/small mouth fishing the Natchaug is right across the street and there are many many walks all around. Great location will definitely be back again!

My 7 year old Son and I recently camped at pegasus farms and we had such an amazing time. Ronald was a great host who answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We made a fire, cooked dinner & had smores. You can take a light walk through the campsite to his animals where you can meet horses & cows during feeding time. I left relaxed, feeling peaceful and recharged my batteries. The only bad part was that we wish we stayed longer! Thank you again Ronald and we are looking forward to staying with you again soon.

Addison’s site was exactly what we were looking for! Secluded and private without being totally off the grid. There was great forestry surrounding our site, the campfire and seating areas were awesome, and the road leading to the site was cleared well and had some fun bumps! Bring a truck or SUV! We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We easily fit 5 of us in the top floor with air mattresses (If you are planning on sleeping on the first floor, definitely bring a tarp or blanket to put down). The outdoors area was well maintained with a great firepit where we sat around the flames and listened to the frogs and crickets and such. Would recommend. Was fun to watch the swallows as well. Porta Potty was very clean and had a convenient solar light next to it to help you find it in the dark.
