We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons. It can be pre-purchased for $12 per bundle on this site, or $10.00 cash here at farm. ***PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION - NO RUNNING WATER NOV - MARCH*** Our *NEW* cabin is located on the top of a clearing in the mountains outside Wassaic. Enjoy swimming, hiking, chilling, fires and sunsets views without any light pollution or street noise. Designed as a retreat for the modern creative, the cabin is fully off-grid but features Starlink Internet, a compost toilet and heat / AC. We do provide 5 gallons drinking / cleaning water, but during the winter no sinks or showers are operable. Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park. 15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow.

Come stay on our working farm! Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more. We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance. As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures. We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need. Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay. Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

We loved this spot in the woods:) Tiffany made sure everything was ready for us upon our arrival. It was a super private and beautiful location. The kids loved visiting the cows in the morning and I especially loved the peace and quiet by the fire with my morning coffee:) We had to check out early due to dangerous wind conditions but hope to return. Thanks for an amazingly peaceful retreat!

We had an amazing time at this campsite! Check-in was super easy, and the location is very secluded — it honestly felt like we were the only ones there, which made it extra peaceful. The site came stocked with firewood, a lighter, and even some cooking supplies, which was such a nice touch. The host was fantastic as well, with quick and friendly communication that made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

This place was so much fun! It was a beautiful, serene, country location. Don't let the farm vibe scare you - it wasn't smelly, "dirty," or muddy at all; just peaceful. The sound of crickets lulled us to sleep and the cool air made for a deep, restful night. With the door and windows closed, there wasn't much ambient (animal) noise and the rooster didn't wake me up like I expected. The "bed" was more comfortable than I expected. (I'm a wicked light sleeper and expected a rough night... It was anything but!) The RV was quaint and vintage, and so cozy and inviting. The bathroom is small but was just enough for us (shower and all.) Not having to sleep on the ground and being able to have my own restroom was precisely why we chose this site but it was leaps and bounds better than I expected. We'd return in a heartbeat. Nice, central location in CT, and if we were there longer, I would've loved to have used the kitchen and enjoyed the farm more. The coffee maker was a godsend first thing in the morning while we packed up. I feel like this would be an excellent place for an artist or a writer to escape and find inspiration. Lastly, the camper was away from the rest of the structures so we felt like the farm was ours. 1 night was not enough.

My 9 y/o daughter and I had a nice time staying on Amy and Bill's farm. It was a lovely and quiet place to land for a night, and they were wonderful hosts. My daughter enjoyed tagging along to feed the many animals. We made an easy dinner over the fire, although there were also nice restaurants nearby. We had a great hike at the nearby Hidden Valley Preserve.

Molly and Diego were fantastic hosts and so generous with their time despite their busy schedules. The animals are so comfortable around people, a true testament to the great care they are receiving. We decided to go camping very last minute and this was the perfect getaway! We took our dogs with and they enjoyed every second. Almost everything you need is provided. All we had to pack is a stove, bedding, food, and a few toiletries. The best part was visiting the cows and getting to pet some.
