New this year Bliss Camp is adding a 12' x 14' Glamping Tent Cabin. Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking, picturesque South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon! Dark Skies: If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe. Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.) Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. We are a Full Grass, 6-acre campground at the base of Rabbit Mountain. The Little Thompson River runs through the property and is wonderful to take a dip in. Carter Lake is only a 5-minute drive away. 20 Minutes away from Longmont Colorado is far enough away that you can escape from the city but close enough to be able to run into town if you need anything. As long as you are by your post, we don't care how you park, pull in, back in, pull through, we are easy going. Be aware this is a Rustic experience so there is no cell reception, but we do have wifi.

Deer came right down to the Lodge, plenty of creature comforts in the kitchen, jacuzzi tub, hot tub, with wifi and central heat. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Trailhead on site for a good hike, or another right across the hwy. King Suite was spacious, check in was easy, be ready for an extra deposit fee.

You get the feeling of camping in nature, but with clean facilities, hot showers, and a friendly staff that actually cares about your stay. The tent sites are spaced out perfectly—private enough to feel like you’re on your own adventure, but close enough to walk to amenities. Waking up to the sound of the creek and the cool morning air was the best way to start the day. Trails are right next to the lodge, so I was able to hike straight from my campsite without ever getting in my car. The staff deserves special mention. They were welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and gave genuinely helpful tips for hikes, food, and local spots. The community vibe around the lodge, especially in the evening, made the experience even better—quiet when you want rest, relaxed when you feel social. If you’re looking for a tent camping spot that balances nature, comfort, and adventure, A-Lodge is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Our stay at this Hipcamp site was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for. Ernest was friendly and communicative, and the igloo was clean with plenty of space and privacy. We loved sitting by the mini fireplace and hot tub at night under a sky full of stars. Waking up to birdsong and fresh mountain air was also a great addition. Everything felt thoughtfully cared for and simple in the best way no distractions, just a chance to slow down and reconnect. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing, off-the-grid getaway.

We had a blast at Glen Isle. Everything from camping to fishing to disc golf everything was fantastic. Hosts were amazing and the campsite was private and riverside. A great close getaway and a few days in paradise. Cute horses and donkeys as well. Best campsite we have been to all year. It’s the total package!
