Every single night we witness campervans and boondockers getting kicked out of the Red Rocks Open Space parking lot, so we are here to do our good deed to fellow BoonDockers! We offer a parking spot at night to have a quick safe place to stay. We do not allow the camper to stay multiple continuous days without leaving as you must leave during the day time, but are welcome to return at night. Here is a little bit about us! We rent motorhomes, camper vans, travel trailers, Paddleboards, and party buses! We are a perfect fit for hip camping because we are right across the street from Red Rocks Open Space, 5 min away from Garden of the Gods, and right off of HWY24 to head deeper into the Rockies! A mountaintop ranch in Colorado that sits below the famous Colorado “14er”, Pikes Peak. This property sits on top of a mountain at an elevation of nearly 10,000ft and features 3 unique Glamping sites! The ranch features a tiny cabin, geodesic dome tent and platform canvas tent. The sites sit on 100 acres of private, pristine Colorado mountain land that offers over 3 miles of private hiking trails and unrivaled views in all directions. A large, mature aspen grove covers most of the property and views to the south stretch over 100 miles! Despite being on a mountain, over 70% of the property sits on level or gently sloping ground making it perfect for camping spots and events. The Eastern edge borders public land, infinitely expanding access and hiking opportunities. It’s only 1,500 feet from a large reservoir and river- both are accessible by hiking or an easy 5 minute drive. 105 West Ranch also has some deep and unique history. Our area was originally surveyed in 1881. After that, miners came through in the late 1800s and dug prospector pits looking for gold. Many of these pits and even some old tin cans from miner's camps are still visible on the property today. In 1931, the area was re-surveyed with more accuracy. In 1936, the President of the United States, FDR, granted a land patent (homestead) of 632 acres to homesteader. Part of this 632 acre homestead granted by the President was what is now 105 West Ranch. Fast forward nearly 100 years. My wife, Rachel, and I bought this property in 2019, fulfilling a life-long dream of owning our own land. Rachel and I live for the outdoors, we work in the outdoor industry and spend every chance we get exploring our beautiful state with our two dogs. As a 4th generation Coloradan, it's been a lifelong dream to own a (relatively) small part of the state my family has called home since the late 1800s. Now that we own our own piece of Colorado heaven we want to share the unforgettable experience, memories and beauty of our property with others looking for an escape from the city.

You will meet 12 beautiful alpacas, 16 Nubian goats for milk, weed control and just because they make us happy, and a large flock of laying chickens for fresh eggs. We have a variety of gardens and a year-round geodesic dome greenhouse that provides us with fresh produce. This is a quiet country setting - we can see our neighbors only if we try hard. There are many popular and diverse activity sites less than an hour away. Come escape the hustle and bustle of home, avoid the quarantine of the day, and enjoy the beauty of nature and our loving animals. We offer both tent and RV listings to suit however you like to travel. We have a hot shower, bathroom, picnic tables, potable water, and trash and recycle bins. Our RV listing has both 20 and 30 amp electrical hookup but no water or sewer hookups. Our guests love us too! "We had an amazing time here! Diane is so sweet and showed us all of their beautiful friendly animals and plants when we arrived and even offered fresh goat milk and a plant starter! The land was gorgeous and we got to watch adorable goats from our tent. One of my favorite camping experiences ever!"

The Fisherman’s Cabin, hosted by Huts and Hills, has a wild and unique history. Originally it was built by two professors from Berkeley College as an annual mountain campsite. They used to make the pilgrimage every year from California to Colorado to come relax in the wonderful forest of the Lost Acres National Park. At the turn of the century, the Denver Wheel Club used to have their headquarters right next to the river just down Insmont Dr. and hosted a big bike race every year. This was before there was even a road to the mountains, and the only real public access to these lands were via the train from Denver! Today the Fisherman's Cabin is just a hop, skip and a jump outside downtown Bailey, Colorado and close to many mountain passes like Guanella and Kenosha. There are local hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, and animal watching activities waiting to be experienced. Sleeps 2 plus invite up to 6 friends for camping and goodtimes!
