As you enter this tiny home, you will experience bright wood finishes throughout the home renewing your senses while giving you a homey yet cozy cabin feeling throughout. The house can accommodate up to four guests, has visible high ceilings in the living room area with a beautiful kitchen that has all anyone would need to make home cooked meals. The kitchen does not have an oven but it has a stove top to cook your favorite meals. As you make your way up the STEP LADDER, you will encounter a spacious bedroom loft equipped with a comfortable full-sized bed( 4.5 ft. ceiling high). The home and loft is delightfully decorated with bright lights and colored lights strips throughout and has beautiful views of Pikes Peak right from your bed. Also, the couch easily converts to a full-size bed. Great location, right off of route 24, and close to everything Woodland Park has to offer!

Peaceville offers 2 campsites and the Safe House (lodging) for 6 people, one booking! At the end of the road where 40 acres meets Pike National forest, there are views of rock formations, snow cap peaks and never ending stars. On the ground are pine, aspen, wildflowers and semi precious minerals. Peaceville is accessible to most vehicles and RVs. There are no houses or lights in sight. Florissant is a certified dark sky place in Colorado. The stargazing is AMAZING! The Safe House is connected to but separate from the main house and is equipped with a queen size bed, full size futon, toilet, shower, utility sink, fridge and stove cook top. Two campsites are available. The Aspen campsite for tent and car camping. Boy Scout campsite for RV's, tent camping and campfire if Teller County has no fire ban. Bring your motor toys, but trailer them to nearby forest access, one mile away. Non motorized humans and toys enter the forest from the property. At night, amazing stargazing! Head to the Hornbek Homestead area, which has a parking lot and is open 24 hours a day for an amazing look at celestial objects after regular park hours. Night Sky Programs are also held periodically in collaboration with the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society, which provide telescopes, laser-pointer tours and plenty of knowledge. There are not words to describe the views from our cabin! Hosts were so kind and friendly. I was worried that the cabin would not be warm enough but the heater provided put off way more than enough heat. You’re missing out if you don’t stay here !

What a beautiful spot along the Arkansas River! I stayed over a winter holiday week, so it was pretty quiet but the views were amazing. The hosts were very hospitable and the bathrooms were clean. Getting to walk along the railroad onto BLM land was an added bonus. I would definitely stay again.

Loved it! As advertised, great little cabin in awesome location. Me and my 6 year old son went for the weekend. Hiked the local mountains in the day, camp fires at night. Went November 7, but still wasn’t too cold in the cabin at all. Highly recommend .

What a wonderful visit to the sweetest Cabin imaginable. Hartsell is a darling little town with lots to do within a short drive… Hot Springs, a drive-in, movie theater, great restaurants and outdoor activities. The house was exactly as pictured with wood for the fireplace, a well stocked kitchen, a cozy bed, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and absolutely stunning views. We had an incredible time and would go back in a heartbeat!

This is a budget friendly place to camp. The hosts were helpful, and the bathrooms were actually quite clean. Old, but clean. Hwy noise is a bit of an issue, but does quiet down a bit after 8 pm or so. The river was very lovely, and my kids loved the suspension bridge. The camp sites are very close to each other though, so if you don’t like to be that close to people, you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, this was a great place I would go to again, but would stay in Corral 1 instead of 2. Corral 2 was difficult to get power and water since they were on the opposite side of our camper and had no tree shade like 1 did.

This was a great stop on my best friend reunion tour! We opted for a cabin and it was a cute, warm, clean and cozy little place. You don't have your own bathroom and have to walk to the common building for stalls and showers, but that was ok- it was clean and not too far away from the cabin. Be sure to peek in to the vintage "RV museum"- 3 restored RVs that are retro outfitted and fun to explore. The woman manning the check in/shop was super friendly and gave good recommendations for places in Cañon City, which is about 15 mins away. We were also pleased to be a short walk from the Gold Mine gem shop, full of beautiful things! In October the area is out of season, so it was pretty quiet, and we were happy with that! I would recommend Starlite for a welcoming glamping experience.

This is a warm and welcoming hostel in a motel setting. Great communal spaces. Happy, friendly staff and guests. What's not to love? For Van Campers, there are a few small spaces that can be a tight fit to squeeze into if you're over 20' long.
