We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raise alpaca’s, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house and this cottage is now available to rent. Water is available outside and the outhouse is just a few steps away. It comes equipped with a woodturning stove you can use to cook on.
We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. Across the gulley is the new Sawmill Cabin built under the canopy of Jim's sawmill. It is small, and can sleep 3 with a unique bunk over a queen sized platform bed. A small deck, fire pit all under a covered open space. More kids? Bring a tent! there’s room!
Numerous tent sites are available all within easy walking to your car. An outhouse is close by.
We love sharing our story and our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp; and relax. Watch and listen to the birds, deer and antelope really do play here two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully just this morning. We are blessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night and an added bonus is our Farm Store where we showcase products made from our alpaca's, and trees my husband has cut down... !

Dogs are welcome, however they must be dog friendly, trained and well behaved. They are free to roam but chasing calves and causing trouble with other animals will not be tolerated. We also have dogs, but will do our best to have them put up when you arrive with adequate communication about you ETA . No bathroom facilities at the moment. Also, no fires unless approved by us! When you arrive, we will happily check you in and direct you to your camp site. Please feel free to ask us about anything you may need, but we will not bother you otherwise! We hope to see you soon! We had such a great stay at Highway 59! The sunset and sunrise were incredible, the directions and ease of getting there were very simple, the site was level, highway noise was minimal, and there was plenty of room for our dog to exercise. Kerry was both communicative and accommodating. We were quickly back on the highway the next morning after fueling up and grabbing a coffee and breakfast burrito at the station right at the on ramp. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The pasture site was really nice and had some fantastic sunsets. Our host was very communicative and their partner was helpful as well when we pulled through the wrong gate! The sounds of goats and turkeys was a real treat. The two tips we have: we have would be to make sure to go to the dropped pin provided by the host via HipCamp; we put in the address and went through said wrong gate but the pin is exactly where you need to be. Just give a look ahead going through the field, there are a handful of small cactus but totally manageable if you go slow. We will most definitely utilize this camp again! Thank you!

A peaceful night sleeping under the big sky of eastern Colorado. The host was very responsive and kind when a few goats got out of the pen. We saw a hawks nest nearby and enjoyed the quiet of the pasture land. One of the neighbors played loud country radio at 1AM but we weren't bothered as we have noise cancelling earbuds. We would recommend bringing these just incase. Otherwise, we felt solitude and reprieve from 3 days of driving on the road.

Sometimes, staying on someone else’s property can feel a little imposing, but I truly felt welcomed and at home. Their laid-back and kind demeanor made it incredibly easy to relax and enjoy my time there. Harmony Ridge is way off the beaten path, so if you’re looking for remote, you found it! It’s a beautiful location and the hosts are very nice and really interesting people. It is primitive, with an outhouse and potable on site . I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, except for dogs barking in the middle of night.

This is an amazing place to camp. You are surrounded by nature and have a perfect view of the sunset. Camped at Falkor Ranch with a group of 18 Scouts. We had a chance to pet baby goats and admire the alpacas. We also saw a fox coming out of its den. So peaceful and quaint. Extra bonus being the indoor toilet. We also bought fresh eggs from the Ranch for breakfast that were delicious. We could not have had a better stay. Thank you to Tom and Diane.
