We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raise alpaca’s, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house and this cottage is now available to rent. Water is available outside and the outhouse is just a few steps away. It comes equipped with a woodturning stove you can use to cook on.
We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. Across the gulley is the new Sawmill Cabin built under the canopy of Jim's sawmill. It is small, and can sleep 3 with a unique bunk over a queen sized platform bed. A small deck, fire pit all under a covered open space. More kids? Bring a tent! there’s room!
Numerous tent sites are available all within easy walking to your car. An outhouse is close by.
We love sharing our story and our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp; and relax. Watch and listen to the birds, deer and antelope really do play here two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully just this morning. We are blessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night and an added bonus is our Farm Store where we showcase products made from our alpaca's, and trees my husband has cut down... !

We offer both tent and RV listings to suit however you like to travel. We have a hot shower, bathroom, picnic tables, potable water, and trash and recycle bins. Our RV listing has both 20 and 30 amp electrical hookup but no water or sewer hookups.

Diane is so sweet and showed us all of their beautiful friendly animals and plants when we arrived and even offered fresh goat milk and a plant starter! Built by hand, with love, and a little help from our friends over a 4-year period. Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine.
This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Gnome room in the "pop-up" tent and cots (during the Summer months). We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature!
Please note: This is a real treehouse!! Running water will be turned off from Nov-April (except for warm days and we can turn on for a short time). We will be sure you have plenty of potable water for drinking and using.

We stayed in the treehouse last night to watch the Geminid meteor shower, and it was absolutely perfect. We specifically chose this spot after looking on the Dark Sky Map for a location within an hour of Denver that had very low light pollution and the 360° view of the sky did not disappoint. The large picture window in the treehouse was the hook so our little kids were able to stay warm inside while still having a great view of the meteor shower.
The hosts were incredibly sweet and had everything warm and ready for us when we arrived. The treehouse was well stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner, and there was a great space for the kids to do crafts and play board games we brought along.
In the morning, we got to spend time with the alpacas, who were so friendly—even with our 3-year-old running around and petting them nonstop. That was a huge highlight for everyone.
We will absolutely keep this place on our list for all future astronomical events and can’t wait to come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s just off the freeway, so it made for a nice quick stop. The amenities were top-notch. Perfect place to reset after traveling the road. Our kids enjoy the playground and play room. We used their laundromat which is available 24hrs. The showers were warm and kept clean. Overall it was a great experience.

This Magical Treehouse and land were everything my family needed and more!! We could not have asked for a more pleasant and peaceful retreat! Marni gave us a rundown of the facilities, and we couldn't have imagined a better stay. From the whimsical hand-crafted beauty of the actual treehouse around "Pal", to the amenities (including games/fun, cooking utilities/supplies, Wi-Fi/TV accommodations and plenty of warmth and cozy blankets and pillows, even full working bathroom facilities), down to the quiet starlit nights including a fire pit on the patio to keep warm while star-gazing! My son especially loved visiting and interacting with the extremely affectionate and friendly free roaming animals we got to interact with and became especially fond of, even giving our own little names to each, as they greeted us kindly several times each day. Only complaint was that we couldn't afford a longer stay!.. as each of us were sad to leave and say goodbye to the relaxing and intimate natured feel of the place, and our very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We felt secure even in the peaceful darkness around us knowing the host's dogs were looking out for us into the night. We will definitely be returning next season for a longer stay if welcomed, as Marni/Frank were on call for any questions or needs, we had throughout the stay, and were exceptionally kind to us as well. Thank you for such a pleasant experience to get us "away from it all" and the delight of bringing nature closer! XOX

Weekend Trip to Harmony Ridge Farm
I found the tree house to be a perfect getaway from the city. Very peaceful.
Everything you need and nothing you don’t. The hosts were super nice.
As everyone was headed west for Labor Day I thought I’d go In the other direction for some peace. Glad I did.
Saw plenty of alpacas too.

We had a great weekend at Falkor ranch! It was peaceful, quiet and we woke up to all the friendly goats and alpacas grazing near our tent. Their sweet calm dogs kept watch over us and we felt very protected and safe. The owners gave us a tour and taught us about each group of animals and were kind and considerate of our son with Autism. ❤️❤️❤️

A quaint full fledged farm experience in a charming yurt.
It really is just as good as a high-end hotel but all the right kinds of disconnects. No screens, WiFi is there but you’ll forget about connecting.
Horses greet you. The moon rises over the prairie and makes a picturesque evening.

I definitely recommend this place. So peaceful. Tom & Diane made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and so kind. Tom offered us a tarp for the bottom of our tent, we very much appreciate it. We were passing through for work & it was a wonderful break from being on the road for my husband, me, & our 2 year old son. Our son loves the outdoors so he absolutely loved it here. Their alpacas & goats were so sweet, my son would go and say hi to them often. But their dog Titus won our hearts over, he’s so huge and so loving. I really enjoyed spending time with him while we sat on the grass under some tree shade. We had access to a restroom and shower as well as a room that was like a kitchen with a sink where you can wash some dishes if needed. It is shared with other guest, which is not an issue. This is such a lovely place. And I hope to one day come across this one again. Thank you Tom & Diane for everything.
