Camp Eddy is new, clean, quiet and easy to access. Bring your own rig or rent one of their Airstreams (they have so many different types!) or a charming tiny house. It's right beside the Colorado River. A lovely walking path surrounds the campground and takes you even further if you wish (to the bridge across the river). Several patches of green space (which is nice if you have a dog) - and they also offer a small enclosed Dog Park. There are a variety of sites to choose from as well - with/without hookups, drive-through or back in. The site has new plantings - in a few years it should be lovely when some of the trees start to flourish - and there is no dust (the campground is covered in grey and beige gravel). There are individual restroom/shower rooms (you need a code to access them - and no quarters necessary!) as well as on-site laundry. There is also an area called The Hub - it's indoor/outdoor where you can hang out and look over the River. It's a short drive to downtown and easy access to Colorado National Monument. Just an overall lovely spot. Recommended!

What a beautiful place! We have an 18' trailer that had plenty of room. The sites sit right on a mellow stretch of the river. We waded in the water for hours. There is also a stocked fishing pond. My sons caught 10 fish in about 2 hours. So fun for them. The icing on the cake was all the animals that wandered the property. Just know you will likely be camping with others nearby, but the separation is adequate.
The only downsides: our entire campsite was literally crawling with ants. They were everywhere.
There is ZERO shade. We were cooking in early July. Thankfully we had a pop up canopy to help.

Easy to book. After hours check in no problem. Clean, hot showers. We easily parked our Sprinter van and slept great all night. Easy drive to CMU for college tour and Lunch Loop for a pedal. Would stay again if back in Grand Junction.

The best part was we could see the Arkansas river and mountains in the distance right outside our window. Camp Eddy is perfect for all groups and especially families coz we went with two kiddos: lots of things to do around the river like biking, playing in the sand close to the river, walking around the river. We went in March, and I am sure in the summer there's going to be more stuff to do like boating etc. The hosts were attentive and went out of their way to make our stay a great experience like bringing camp chairs to our airstream even though the protocol was for us to get those from the office. The airstream is cozy and had comfortable beds and adequate amenities to easily spend a week. Our favorite part was to light a campfire and gaze at the stars. Next time we're going to plan a week long trip!

The directions and communication was fantastic through this app. . The facilities were sparkling and left you feeling like you wanted leave it just like that. We would go back when passing through Grand Junction. Nice proximity to the river.
