Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision. We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow! The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons. Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master. Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban. Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision. We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flash toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty. We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it. It's too cold to tent camp so this quaint cabin was perfect. Still cooked on camp stove outside but with the benefit of electricity to heat up water in kettle provided. Had a lovely campfire one night but mostly stayed warm with the wood burning stove. We normally bring 10 gallons of water but this had a potable well pump that saved us the trouble. It was a perfectly relaxing atmosphere and stay. The night sky was gorgeous. The hike around the property lovely. The dogs were friendly and charming. Lorie is attentive and helpful. At my questioning she suggested Beckwith Ranch a worthwhile stop. I spent 2 hours there and got a private tour! It was a wonderful stay. Oh, and the the outhouse was positively posh😊

We had such a lovely time at Bear Creek Ranch. The cabin is supplied well with things like an electric kettle, tea bags, coffee, firewood, and a fan for warm evenings. We loved getting to lay in the grass in front of the cabin and see the Milky Way. We made fires in the evenings in the wood stove, so cozy. The dogs are calm and friendly, as are the horses. The outhouse was very clean and not smelly at all, and very close to the cabin. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us to slow down and reconnect.

The small cabin is very comfortable & has everything you need in regard to chairs, cookware, etc. My only advice would be to be sure to know your way out because Google maps got me there easily but there’s no cell service so be sure to remember your way back. Beautiful lake & Tim was so helpful!

This property is a beautiful hidden gem with amazing night guys, absolute solitude and responsive host. The cabin was larger than I expected with 2 beds in the loft, 2 beds on the main floor and a couch in the living room next to the wood stove. The wood stove heats up fast and provides house of heat without needing to reload and the propane burners for Coleman stove are perfect for cooking. Just bring some battery powered string lights for lighting at night and a headlamp. There are good hiking options on the property and the adjacent BLM lands.

We arrived late at night since our departure was delayed, but the place was easy to find. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to Cripple Creek, where you’ll find casinos, museums, and family-friendly activities. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The loft-style second floor had two beds on each side, hot water worked perfectly, and there was a convenient barbecue setup right in front of the house. We loved waking up to the sound of birds in the morning, watching the sunrise through the window, and enjoying tea time on the chairs out front—it was truly relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with a kind host and a fantastic place.

What a beautiful spot! The drive out to the cabin was so beautiful, and honestly a hidden gem of Colorado. We ended up going to see Rita the troll which is about 20 to 30 minute drive, and did a hike to get to the paradise cove / Guffey gorge which was beautiful. it gets a bit hot in the sleeping area up above the kitchen if you use the oven since heat rises but there is a box fan, a porta-poddie and potable drinking water. Their dog Nash was the sweetest thing and we even got to see some wildlife! The main house was a bit closer than we expected based on pictures but we enjoyed every moment of the trip! Thank you Olga for your hospitality!
