The buoys in the lake are scuba projects from the local college CMU, and hold lots of fish. Other nesting platforms are for our local Geese and they hatch out in April-June. We airbnb 2 rooms in our home as a shared facility and have airbnbs in Northern Ca and Baja. Our home is off limits for campers as we need to respect the space for our other airbnb guests. But in an emergence please call, cell service works fine. port-a potty is gone for the winter November-April. port-a potty is clean and works great, May- Oct. If you are here in the winter you may use the trees or Mavericks gas station in 1.5 miles away. The first two pets are included at no additional cost. Stayed here in early December and it is such a great spot! Nice sunset viewing, easy access to the sites, quiet, and it's a rare Colorado location near water. Mike stopped by to chat and is a very accommodating host. I would highly recommend visiting this campsite, especially in the warmer months.

We got moved to RV spot #1 from our original spot a few days before our stay which wasn't an issue. The lake was beautiful and clean, and we were well stocked on wood. We didnt have any neighbors so it was nice and quiet with little sound from distant traffic.

I had a great time camping at double D Farms Dirk is a really nice guy and it’s beautiful there absolutely beautiful sorry for the delay on the review. This is a great spot on the river, near bike paths and downtown. There were beautiful views and great amenities. Honestly, we caught a great rate for a nightly stay. We would have stayed longer, but the weekly rate was a bit spendy.

It was pretty close to perfect experience. The bathrooms and showers were clean, heated and private. The tent sites were flat. The location was about a 30 minute drive to Ouray, CO and Black Canyon Gunnison. The location was also 8 minutes to downtown Montrose which had every store you would want. The host Audrey was friendly. The cost was reasonable.

2 nights at Coworking Space with Mountain Views

Stayed for 2 nights in this hipcamp and wished we could have stayed longer! Host was great and our site was perfect. They have a great location near Montrose and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. We just drove cross country and the bathroom/shower were better than any other campsite we have stayed at so far. Site we had was very level and we loved being right next to their pond. Would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area!
