We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message.
There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose.
Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times.
Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer.
Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

If you're interested in Permaculture, Hugelkultur, or Aquaponics, we've got you covered. We are certified. We'll teach you everything you need to know about properly using chainsaws (non-operating), including instruction on using an Alaskan Mill. For those interested in firearms (without ammunition) or crossbows, we'll teach you cleaning, maintenance, and safety. If you have no clue about mechanics, “You should” out there doing all this traveling. We even offer a workshop on small engines to big engines maintenance and repair, as well as the use of diagnostics and the necessary tools.
For those who want to take things to the next level, we offer a 1-hour crash course on the maintenance, safety, and operation of a Bobcat E45 excavator.

We originally purchased the 20 acres of untouched land and built our cabin, the "Snug Shack," as a getaway from the city. Fast forward a few years, and 40 acres next door with an abandoned house on the canyon ridge went up for sale. We decided to purchase it and start a homestead there. That 40 acres where we now live was badly abused, and we have been in the process of cleaning up and restoring it. Fortunate for you, the land surrounding the Snug Shack was never abused and is still pristine and beautiful. Beautiful site, view is epic! Host was very welcoming and friendly. He stopped by real quick when we first arrived and offered fire wood, and let us know he built a bathroom!
FYI it does get windy so be sure to bring the proper equipment! I think it’s an on and off thing but just be sure 🫡

This was an amazing and private spot to enjoy views of Shasta. The mountain looked surreal and the star gazing at night was some of the best we could ask for. It is on private property but set back a good distance from the house with unobstructed views of the valley and mountain. The main gravel road was minimally traveled and also made for a great walk right from the camp site as the surrounding area is undeveloped as well. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Alex was also very responsive and gave us a heads up on some heavy winds that were expected which was a nice warning as the weather had been beautiful so the wind was unexpected.

Patrice’s campsite is as described by others and in the hip camp listing. It sits in the middle of a large piece of property just past the town of Weed off Highway 97. We liked this location and site. We pitched our tent on flat ground that felt remote, quiet, and off the beaten path. Campsite 3 had a great view of Mt. Shasta, though when we were there it was covered in clouds. You should be aware that the Porta-potty feels like a long walk from the site (100-200 yards). Patrice is super responsive and will make sure you have everything you need.

Everything about Patrice’s land she shares is special.
It is close to the main road without feeling close to it.
Patrice was readily available when I got to the gate and I had not seen the text with the gate code. She answered right away and got me in the gate.

I had just the best trip. Exactly what I needed. The land has breath taking views and offered immersion in Nature and solitude for time to reflect and meditate and move slower.
