You will need to come up a windy country road to get to us but it will be well worth it. Learn more about this land: Welcome to our Above the Clouds RV spot, tucked away in between Napa and Sonoma Valleys - right in the middle of wine country! This is the perfect peaceful getaway near great outdoor activities and some of the best wineries in California! About the Property: Above the Clouds campsite is surrounded by beautiful, stately trees and overlooks the Valley of the Moon with a stunning mountain view. We are just 11 miles from the city of Sonoma and only 8 miles from the Napa Valley - making both destinations really easy to get to. You can enjoy the California wineries, restaurants, and shops that you'd like! We are also ideally located near Jack London State Park - which is a really pretty and historic place to go! The opportunities for hiking around our property are endless, and definitely head to the wineries if that's of interest to you. On our property you can enjoy exploring our more-than 20 acres of land, taking the row-boat (provided by Hosts) out on our pond, hiking or just relaxing in a serene setting and watching a great variety of birds. There are 3 sites next to the pond, we have one that is there all the time in the summer but those folks only come a couple of times each month. The 2 others are right next to each other near the pond. We haven't started having more than one rented at a time yet but do expect to start that soon. You may have a neighbor or 2. We hope you enjoy the beautiful sunsets and being literally above the clouds as much as we do! About the Listing: Come park your RV on our property and set up camp at a beautiful spot right next to the pond. You should expect to see us on the property, though your site is well away from the house We have minimal electrical and we do have water hookups available for your RV, we do allow generators. There is a BBQ grill that you are welcome to use for cooking some wonderful meals if you'd like! You can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table near your campsite. There is also potable water from our natural spring available onsite for guests. You can enjoy watching the birds, turkeys and deer that meander through the meadow, and feel free to roam around the property taking in the fresh outdoor air! Additional Details to Note: - Check-in is after 2pm and check-out is before 12pm - Things to bring: Everything you need to camp comfortably! Think: toilet paper, cookware, bathing suits if you like, etc. - We do not have wifi available on site and cell reception is spotty, especially for certain carriers. Welcome to our family land! As an educator, I run the camp during summers primarily. As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

Learn more about this land: Our private camp is located riverside on the South Fork of the American River. Our sites are located next to the river under shady oak trees. You'll have a private place to relax and swim at the river. The river is swift but we have a few calm pools in front of our resort to wade and float in. We have modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers for your use. We can accommodate large groups in site 1 and we have small private camp sites 2 and 3 as well. We provide compost, recycling, and trash options, and it's ESSENTIAL to use the correct receptacle. Please note that our portion of the property is home to horses, dogs, and chickens, which you will briefly pass through before entering your fully fenced pasture. Coco is nestled in the foothills of the Sierras on our semi-private 4-acre property. Easy access to Grass Valley, Nevada City, and the Yuba River. Coco the Airstream is fully functional with a kitchen and bathroom. There is one full-ish size bed that sleeps two comfortably in the bedroom area, and the couch can fold into one twin-sized bed. Welcome to our family land! As an educator, I run the camp during summers primarily. As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

This was the most fun quick getaway for our families! Exactly as described, beautifully maintained property, incredible hosts. High end blankets and towels, very clean dry flush toilet, and so many cozy seating options. My kids loved the welcome shed, and there were too many thoughtful personal touches to mention. The location is incredible. we explored grass Valley and Nevada city, both had a great selection of well appointed shops and restaurants and were less than a 15 minute drive from the property. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Our second visit and the accommodations were even nicer than last. We enjoyed viewing the rural landscape from the cozy bed. The room had everything we needed including coffee, mugs, and a microwave. The town of Lincoln is slow paced and friendly. A soak in the hot tub was so relaxing. Great weekend getaway.

Wow what an absolutely beautiful property. Rachel and Jon are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed a few hours of hiking around the property. Loved seeing so much wild life and the sweet cows that graze around the property. I can see why summer would be a more enjoyable time to visit. We stayed in cabin # 2 and although a very beautiful spot and cabin, For the $480 for 2 nights price I was surprised there wasn’t sheets/blankets or a propane stove or bbq or some way to cook food. so make sure you bring anything necessary to cook food and linens and blankets for the bed. There is a fire pit outside but no grill or way to cook food. It does have a wood stove inside as a heat source so make sure you also bring firewood especially in the colder months.

Lovely site great hiking and swimming, cabin was great, bed comfy. One addition I'd like to see would be some hooks/pegs to hang up towels, clothes etc. thank you, we had a wonderful weekend!

What an amazing place to stay! We did a spontaneous honeymoon getaway trip right after our wedding (no plans just spontaneous decision making) so we decided on staying at the foxes getaway and it did not disappoint. The apple turnovers are to DIE for and the house was adorable. We did have our two little doxies with us and they loved being able to graze the yard. The cute little town of galt was nearby and we explored the area (great ice cream). Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to stay and the couple who lives there was welcoming as well as kind. I couldn’t have been happier with the decision. Tips for those who want to visit: fridge space is small so be considerate of that and it’s a tiny home so don’t bring too much luggage.

We loved our stay at Kat’s little house. It’s such a cozy and relaxing getaway for our family. Kat is a great host — very responsive and easy to communicate with. The home is well-equipped with everything we needed, including comfy beds, cookware, dishes and a BBQ grill. The apple turnovers are yummy!

Great location! My stay at the Foxes Farm was exactly what I was looking for. It was calm and quiet and allowed me a chance to relax and recharge. Kat and Steve were wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming and super friendly. I highly recommend getting the apple turnovers! They were amazing and reason enough to stay here again.

Great views, even with the rain and fog. Dan was very good at communicating and even offered a partial total refund and comped the sheets for a mishap of the past guest that left a bit of a mess, which is/was appreciated.
