Our Main House was built in 1952 and retains the flavor of the 50’s. It houses a kitchen, dining hall, a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Our log-built Lodge overlooks the Klamath River with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, bathroom and wrap-around covered porch. Our Pumpkin and Blue Cottages. They are close to the double Yellow Shower house and toilets, and they have hot and cold running water, a propane cooktop, and a wood stove for heat. We do NOT have refrigeration, and our solar batteries or generator provides us lights at night. Campers who use our Cottages may use their own sleeping bags, but we have beds with mattresses and pillows and clean bedding. We also have an Upper Barn bedroom and half-bath rental. Our two-story Riverview Yurt appeals to folks who want a full kitchen, a private shower and flush toilet overlooking the Klamath river from our 50 x 50 foot upper deck. We have a Yellow double Shower House with two separate sides, each with a toilet, sink and shower and on demand hot water, so folks don't have to wait. There's also a new Camp Shower at the corner of the orchard for our campers, along with two outhouses for camper use, one at the bottom of the road down to the meadow, and another in the woods just past Deer Meadow Camp. We see lots of wildlife; silver foxes, a bald eagle and a family of river otters downstream, vultures, blue heron, occasionally an osprey will fly overhead clutching a freshly caught salmon and call to each other to brag about it! There are rare sightings of timid black bears who run from humans, but sometimes can be seen grazing in the meadow with the black-tail deer. We're surrounded by old logging trails made by the lumber companies 80 years ago when they clear cut the old growth redwood on our side of the mountain, and now it's completely reforested with 200 ft tall Doug Fir, Madrone, Cedar, Oak, other pine species and Pepper wood trees, and we have written permission from the Green Diamond company to allow guest to hike on their adjacent properties.

The beginnings of Warren creek form the eastern boundary to the property where salmonids have been tracked by Fish and Game. A year round spring feeds a pond which then feeds another creek on the west side of the property. Besides field and meadow there is lush forest with a variety of trees including: Cascara, Willow, Alder, Redwood, Cedar, Maple, Spruce and Fir. This land was the home of one of the richest race car drivers in the area who legend says had regular shoot outs with the police! Since then the land has been cleansed, blessed and used for many sacred gatherings, weddings and ceremonies and was home to a moonlodge-TreeWoman for several years. There we had regular new moon gatherings for local women. It is an honor and privilege to share this space with you. You may see us working around the land occasionally as we live in the main house also on the property. This is not a perfectly groomed lawn type of area. We do mow paths and sitting spaces but the ground can be uneven at times and much growth is kept natural for wildlife habitat. As stewards of this property, we value the wildlife safety and honor the presence of all creatures with minimal disruption. Wildlife that have visited include but not limited to: deer, fox, bear, skunk, opossum, mountain lion, owls and hawks. You may hear our ducks on occasion but fear not, they are trained not to attack! Our two cats may come to inspect visitors and may decide to join you for morning coffee in your covered outdoor lounging area. The Meadow cabin was originally built to house our extensive water filtration system, then expanded as a horse shelter and garden space as well as a honey processing house. We affectionately call it our "Honey House". On several occasions it was the site of regular African initiation medicine journeys. The fire pit in front of the cabin was created as a sacred fire spot. We strive for organic chemical free living as much as possible. Soaps, shampoos, and cleaning supplies are provided. If you bring your own please be conscientious. Please no highly scented perfumes or lotions. There is an infrared sauna on site as well, convenient to your shower and tub. Directions for use are in the informational binder. The indoor studio style living space is shoes off so bring some clean indoor shoes/slippers to wear if desired. Heating is by a small electric fireplace/stove. There is a queen size bed and a single overhead bunk (max 250lbs). Kitchen amenities include a hotplate, toaster/bake oven, electric tea kettle and skillet and a kitchen sink as well as a large refrigerator. This is a solar powered household with filtered well water. Hot water outdoor shower, tub and custom made pooper. Our home made compost toilet is simple to use. Preferably solids only (feel free to pee in the field) after which a scoop of cedar shavings is dumped on top. Cell phone service may be spotty. Just beyond the fire pit is often better reception. Please drive slow on the 1/3 mile long gravel drive to get to our sanctuary at the end of the lane. Our country lane is perfect for a stroll under the stars. At times you can even hear the roar of the ocean approximately 5 miles to the west as the crow flies. It is very dark at night with no street lights or bright porch lights so make sure you bring a flashlight. We do have neighbors and you may hear others doing yardwork, calling for their animals or the sound of chickens, occasionally dogs and ducks. This space is a peaceful retreat but please do not expect complete silence all the time. We have lived here for over 35 years and have experience on the rivers, oceans and trails and are happy to share information on where to go and what to see if so desired.

Heating is by a small electric fireplace/stove. There is a queen size bed and a single overhead bunk (max 250lbs). Kitchen amenities include a hotplate, toaster/bake oven, electric tea kettle and skillet and a kitchen sink as well as a large refrigerator. This is a solar powered household with filtered well water. Hot water outdoor shower, tub and custom made pooper. Our home made compost toilet is simple to use. Preferably solids only (feel free to pee in the field) after which a scoop of cedar shavings is dumped on top. Cell phone service may be spotty. Just beyond the fire pit is often better reception. Please drive slow on the 1/3 mile long gravel drive to get to our sanctuary at the end of the lane. Our country lane is perfect for a stroll under the stars. At times you can even hear the roar of the ocean approximately 5 miles to the west as the crow flies. It is very dark at night with no street lights or bright porch lights so make sure you bring a flashlight. We do have neighbors and you may hear others doing yardwork, calling for their animals or the sound of chickens, occasionally dogs and ducks. This space is a peaceful retreat but please do not expect complete silence all the time. We have lived here for over 35 years and have experience on the rivers, oceans and trails and are happy to share information on where to go and what to see if so desired.

Great stay for the value! The extra amenities such as a coffee pot, toaster, and hot plate were much appreciated. The outhouse was clean and in good order. Ultimately, Allyson was a very kind and generous host. Proximity to the highway caused things to get a little loud when semi's passed by, but otherwise the neighborhood was tranquil and quiet.

This stay was everything I needed. I booked the Aristocrat trailer with my dog, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and intention went into every detail. The trailer was cozy, stylish, and full of charm. Mallory and Jeff have created something truly special. The property is beautifully designed, with trails to explore, maps to guide you, and welcome kits for both humans and pups! Even the dog leash hooks in the kitchen made me smile, such a thoughtful touch that shows how well they understand their guests. The outdoor shower was a bonus - peaceful, refreshing, and somehow made me feel more connected to the land. And the shared kitchen and dining space were so well done. It felt communal without being crowded, and added a layer of comfort and ease to the whole experience. Mallory was so sweet when we checked out, she made sure everything went smoothly and it was obvious how much she cares about this place. That kind of genuine hospitality really stayed with me. Already planning my return, next time with people I love so they can experience the magic too!

This place is AMAZING!! We will be back the first chance we get. Well worth a 9 hour drive with 2 adults and 3 dogs in a compact car. They had everything ready for us when we arrived. The kitchen is complete with a pantry full of spices and staples. They have dishes and silverware. A griddle and a hot plate to cook on if you don’t want to cook over ther fire. They even have an espresso/cappuccino maker. Loved the coffee maker in the tent. They have paddle boards,canoes and fishing poles to use at your leisure. It’s stunningly beautiful here! So much so, we stayed an extra day! It’s easy access to the river from the camp right around the corner. Our dogs liked it so much , I’m having trouble getting the last one in the car. We had the best time! Dreading going back to the city. Going back to a heat wave. Bummer! At least when I get back to work, I will have purpose. To keep working to save enough to come back! Thank you so much for a much needed break from L.A. and the best most memorable vacation EVER! This place is the best. Will never camp again. For us, it’s Glamping or nothing. 100% would recommend staying here. A lovely escape that Mallory and Jeff clearly have put a lot of work into curating for guests. It feels very remote but with the comforts of a well-stocked camp kitchen, fast WiFi, and honestly one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The Rockslide Bar down the road is the perfect place to grab a drink or a bite to eat while hanging with the locals.

Beautiful and peaceful spot right above the river. The tent was cozy and felt private despite being on a share site. The bathrooms are super clean and the kitchen was stocked with cooking tools and utensils. The trail leading down to the river was fun! Definitely hoping to visit again!

It was rustic & scenic. From the drive in to the yurt next to river…. It was a hidden gem for us to get out of the hustle & bustle of the city life & enjoy the quiet country life for a couple days & just unplug. There are no services within an hour drive so do come prepared with your own supplies for a couple days or you’ll have to live off the abundant local blackberries. The river access & kayaks that were provided onsite were amazing. If I was a fisherman I may of never left. The acres of blackberry bushes provided entertainment for the entire family! Hopefully we’ll see you again soon otter space!

I had so much fun at Radio Ranch!! I'd never camped in my life and they made my first time so easy. The instructions were really clear and it wasn't difficult at all to get to the site. Peaceful location and very nice hosts. I had a flat tire slow leak when I woke up in the AM and Jeff helped me right away get air in it so I could drive to a tire shop. I stayed in the little RV and it is very small, good for me as a small single person plus my little dog but would be tight for 2 adults. You'd have to really like each other. The stars were great and I enjoyed laying out in the field at night. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, you can tell they really care about your experience. Don't be intimidated by all the rules, they are easy to follow and reasonable (basically boil down to "be conscientious").
