Our 220 remote acres are adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in Northern California.
It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek.
We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here. Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us. The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip!
No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Mill Creek Resort is magical! This is the perfect location for exploring Lassen National Park or just being. The grounds are lovely and Mill Creek runs along the edge of the property. I stayed in an rv spot and those sites are close together, but I didn’t mind and I appreciated the convenience of having water, power and sewer hook ups. There was a small creek running behind the rvs, which is nice sound to fall asleep to. Nice people there and a really great vibe. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I came here last year, just the two of us and fell in love with it (and our hosts) immediately. We planned to bring our kids for our next family trip and they had a blast so another visit was in the xards. This time there were enough campers for Scott to fire up the pizza oven and make some delicious pizza for everyone. Scott is a wonderful guy, he has made special effort to accomodate us each time we've been there. This time he went and got paint for my daughter to paint rocks with. We all love Camp Stoney Meadows and look forward to our next visit

We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back! If you love being off grid with a super friendly host, then you’ll love it too. Scott was the sweetest and checked in with us every morning. We unfortunately didn’t get to meet Nora but I heard she’s just as kind. We felt safe with the dogs watching over the property day and night, and they even tolerated our high energy puppy in training. The kids enjoyed swimming in the watering holes and creek to cool off as did the rest of us! The only downside was coming back to all the emails and texts that I truly didn’t miss!

Such a great setup and everything that is needed! We had a blast and visited Lassen Volcanic. Easy commute to the southwest entrance. The private bathrooms just for the “glampers” were a nice touch as well.

Very quiet campground with a nicely appointed trailer, very cozy and comfortable. Nice picnic table with camp stove all ready to go. Staff was very accommodating and helpful when I contacted them after my visit thinking I had left something behind. They looked and looked and kept me informed.

We had an awesome two-night stay at the cabin! Scott’s a fantastic host — super thoughtful and clearly knows how to take care of his guests. The campsite has some seriously scenic mountain views and a peaceful little creek running by that gives you instant “nature therapy.” 🌲🏕️ Would definitely love to go back again. Highly recommend!
Heads up: the last mile to the campsite isn’t paved, so be ready for a fun little pothole obstacle course

The glamp site was really nice - the beds were comfy and the location was ideal with being close to Lassen. The bathrooms were a bit of a hike, but nice. The creek trail felt a bit sketchy after a long day of hiking. My chief complaint was there was nowhere to store our food at our site - our box was missing a door - and a mouse got into my trunk and ate through most all of our things overnight. Also the trash was a hike. But overall a really nice property and glamping setup!

Weekend Trip to Mill Creek Resort
We had a great two-night stay in the vintage camper van! It rained a lot Saturday night, but the van kept us dry and warm. Very effective space heater! It was stocked with many great amenities like various cookware, a kettle, a French press, etc. We were able to cook some delicious meals in the van. There was no wine opener or hand soap, however. There were multiple sets of sheets and pillowcases, so that felt clean and organized. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor cooking supplies because of the rain, but that was nice to have! The camper ceiling is a bit low, so if you are taller (6'1 and above), be mindful of your head. The showers take quarters, so plan accordingly if you want to use them. Overall, a cozy stay!
