We are located between both, so you have the best access to both attractions here! We are outside of Bear and Marmot areas, so no Bear cans needed here. However, we are not far away and nature is wild and can be unpredictable sometimes, so please keep food in your car at night as a precaution. We have not had issues and we don't want to invite any!
Hot showers, flushing toilets, deep sinks for washing and WIFI (over 70 mps in many places for you teleworkers) now available for all campers at no extra charge!
ARRIVAL:
THERE ARE 3 GATES HERE:
RIGHT GATE: just to the right of the Giant Sequoia Tree with address sign, goes to the CAMPSITES! Look for ORANGE CONES a few feet off the highway and drive down camp road about 600 feet to the camp.
MIDDLE GATE: RV1 and RV2
LEFT GATE: house, please DO NOT ENTER this gate or the house.
DIRECTIONS:
If you put our address in to navigation apps, sometimes it brings you to our neighbors (fire department) for some reason, even after multiple emails to google...if this happens come south/down hill about 600 feet and look for the ORANGE CONES on the same side of the road. Drive between them and down camp road to your site! (There is a pic of the site map in the posted pic's)
Go to Google Maps (NOT GOOGLE SEARCH). Search for Sequoia Mountain Farms Campground.
Navigator apps sometimes push folks coming from the south up the 245 highway. It is a very windy and slow climb up the hill. It is doable (even for bigger rigs), but we HIGHLY RECOMMEND continuing north on highway 99 towards Fresno and then heading east on highway 180 up the mountain. It's faster, much more scenic and a much smoother drive. This route also goes right by the nearest gas station on your way up!
Heading east on highway 180, out of Fresno, the last gas station is a Valero at 35468 E Kings Canyon Rd. (aka Clingan's Junction).
From Clingan's, head east on the 180 for exactly 13.8 miles to the 245 highway (it comes up quick with only 1 or 2 small signs), make a right, heading south. If you hit the park entrance, you went too far, turn around drive back about 5 min and look for the 245 on your left.
Once on the 245 heading south, go 5.1 miles. On your right you will pass the 'Pinehurst Lodge', which is on google maps, an easy reference point and is 1 minute or less away (great food, bar, pool table and karaoke on weekends in the summer!).
Then a few seconds later the U.S Forest Service "Work Center" is on the right and we are just past that on the same side of the road. First you will see a Giant Sequoia Tree in the front yard (campground road is just to it's right with ORANGE CONES on either side) then an apple ranch with an ole loggers cabin chimney from the late 1800s still standing in the front yard directly off the highway! If you hit the 'leaving sequoia national forest' sign and the community center, you went too far, turn around and drive 1 minute back and look for the apple ranch on your left, pass it and turn left at the ORANGE CONES.

This beautiful site is geared more for tent camping. There are two RV spots with water and power hook ups but those are really tight (no privacy), right next to the entrance/road for easy access. The RV sites don’t have the gorgeous views the tent sites have. Beautiful rolling hills, a small pond, and big trees create a nice athmosphere, and it is nice to walk around the campsite with dogs. This location is really close to the King’s Canyon NP entrance. Overall good but would not stay here with an RV.

Weekend Trip to The Westside Island
Amazing space! Super nice and clean restrooms. They had everyone talking! All the great upkeep and maintenance on this place definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Gorgeous spot and perfect for a large group like ours. Thank you guys we definitely will be back! A lot of amazing memories made here.

Great location and full hook up for RVs. Conveniently located just outside the Sequoia National Park gate (30-40 min). Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean but too far down a steep road from the RV site. Definitely better for tent campers.

This was a great camp spot. Andrew is super atentative, and the sites are generous. Showers are just in the nick of time and very nice including flushing toilets. Our experience was good 50-50, there was a giant large family having a party on a Saturday night. We kind of knew what we were in for. And it was after a long drive a bad navigation from the South.
Although Andrew warned us in the comments not to use dry Creek Road, we accidentally did. If you were coming from the sequoia national forest. Go more direct routes. The winding roads are not worth it. It’s going to get windy at 245 anyway. Once we got there and settled, it was very nice. Super close to the Park entrance and felt safe. I would recommend this because I think the owner is invested in a great experience for his guest. Fair warning to people pulling trailers. The road into the property is a bit rugged, but not impossible at all. And honestly, the winding roads are just tough with any trailer… and get out early!! The parks are full of tourist families at peak season!!

The whole place was amazing. The host was super cool and friendly. He was quick to respond and accommodate with any challenges that arose. My fav part was the showers and bathrooms. They cleaned them every morning as well as emptied the trash cans so cleanliness was on point. It was a short drive to the national parks. My group and I had a blast. Thanks Andrew for a memorable experience

We had an awesome stay at Lakeshore Resort. They just opened for the season on Memorial weekend. We have a class A 30' RV. Our rig fit fine in Site #9. Easy back-in. Road up to the site a bit bumpy so take is slow. Check-in is at the general store, which is huge and has a lot to offer. Lev at the store is very friendly as the rest of the staff managing the resort. Aaron, camp host, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell he loves his job. Walking trail from campsite along the creek and down to the lake.
Owner is putting a lot of work into the resort. Check out their website to see what the plan is. Looking forward to seeing it complete! Expect some construction, but that didn't deter us from having a relaxing time. Camp bathroom and showers were clean.
Saloon and restaurant just opened for the season as well. Friendly staff and yummy food!

The directions and tips for how to arrive were appreciated. Campground was beautiful, clean and overall quiet. Bathrooms had FLUSH TOILETS and lovely showers. There was even a big sink for dish cleanup. The road in is dirt (consideration for rainy weather) but our Prius made it no problem. Would stay again. Andrew had great communication!

First time ever camping in an RV, first time in that part of the US and Andrew’s RV site was the first I ever used.
Andrew’s communication is outstanding, responded to all the messages quickly and in detail.
The campsite isn’t the easiest to find, but that has nothing to do with the detailed description you receive after booking. The descriptions are fantastic but when I first got there I wasn’t sure if I was at the right place or I just hooked the RV up at some sort of random site 🤣🤣.
Later, when I went exploring, it became clear that I did manage to get to the right spot.
Hooking the RV up was easy even for someone inexperienced and - despite being just off the road - it was quiet. As others mentioned, you do have to walk to the toilets and shower but it’s less than 2mins and no trouble. Both were clean and the WiFi worked well.
Great location for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks!

Enjoyed our stay with a 28ft RV. Bathrooms and showers were exceptional. Second only to the sunset. In retrospect, the directions made sense, but it took us a minute to figure out where we were to park our RV. I actually turned in the wrong drive and had to get out and walk around the property to figure out exactly where I was supposed to be. Not sure there is anything to do to improve. Just be prepared that it taks a moment to sort out. Property was clean and very quiet.
