POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). Beautiful cabin with everything we needed! Loved exploring the creek and nearby waterfall. Hot tub was great too! Plenty of bedding and cooking supplies. A great place to go if you want to get away without totally unplugging. Jami was very thoughtful in making sure that everything was provided. I came with 8 people, and there was enough room to comfortably fit everyone without too much running into each other. The beds were great, and extra blankets were provided just in case. There was also a washer and dryer, which I wasn't expecting. There's only one bathroom, so there was a little maneuvering with that. The Wi-Fi worked great, even with all of us connected. There is a heater but no AC, although the ceiling fans, along with opening the windows, really helped with the heat. Not to mention, it was cooler outside. The only problem was the bugs, like mosquitoes, since we were here in the summer. There's a stream about a 2-minute walk from the cabin, and I'm pretty sure I could hear it even from inside. There's also a bigger waterfall that was about a 20-minute walk/hike. The area was absolutely beautiful—trees everywhere. You could see squirrels running around, birds in the morning, and at night it was so peaceful and quiet.

1 night at Bayview Bungalow
We only stayed one night at Melissa’s hilltop bungalow but it truly felt like a full getaway. The location is peaceful and just tucked away enough to feel like an escape, with a glimpse of the lake from the porch and a park nearby where you can launch the kayaks she provides. The bungalow was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We travel with our yellow lab and loved how dog friendly it was. We cooked, watched movies, and ended the night soaking in the hot tub under the stars. As a couple who usually camps, this was such a treat. The perfect mix of nature and comfort. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to come back for a longer stay.

5 nights at Creekside Vintage Cabins w/hot tubs
The cabin was lovely and the surroundings breathtaking. Loved the hottub, the creek and the squirrels. We played games, took walks, watched movies (there is an extensive collection of dvd's and a dvd player) and read books. Jami was amazing, very responsive and ready to answer any questions we had. This is a quirky and very sweet cabin, which does mean that sometimes you need to improvise and not be bothered by small inconveniences, such as blunt knives. We were not, it added to its charm.

This quaint and cozy home is the perfect get away. The cabin is well equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing get away. The hosts were wonderful and I appreciate that they allowed our canine family members and even provided bowls for the pups. The jacuzzi was the perfect place to relax while the dogs frolicked in the backyard area.
