Even though Deep Creek has never had any known cases of amoeba outbreaks, be advised that the warm waters around hot springs can carry a sometimes fatal amoeba.

Weekend Trip to Granite Mountain
I stayed in the eagles nest (site 3) cabin over the weekend and had an absolutely wonderful experience. It’s a very cute spot both beautiful and cozy and offers the perfect balance of comfort with a true glamping feel. The cabin was thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
The views were breathtaking, and at night the sky was incredibly clear, allowing us to see so many stars. One of my favorite moments was having breakfast outside with a cup of coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings and fresh air it felt calm and restorative.
The host was great: communication was easy, directions were clear, and everything from check-in to the stay itself was smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in nature without sacrificing comfort.
It’s fur baby friendly: My pup had such a wonderful time. I truly enjoyed my trip and will be making a second trip.

Had so much fun start gazing and relaxing here. It was perfect and cozy for 2. Certainly some things that could be fixed but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. Having only stayed one night, I can’t wait to go back and spend possibly a few days here.
Might need fixing:
Side door didn’t close properly, bed support wooden pieces fell off during the night , space heater didn’t work.
Honestly was so worth it for just being one night. 10/10 would recommend for a little get away from the city.

We loved the Stargazer Cabin. And the fenced back yard had a super fire pit area. With bean bag chairs and a nice grill, too. Also, we drove out there in our Class C RV and they even had a 30-amp hook-up and water. Very nice surprise. We would definitely go back. We’re thinking of bringing our grandson because the property is very close to an OHV area that would be fun. All in all, it was pretty much perfect.

Weekend Trip to Stargazer Cabin
We loved our stay here. The spot feels incredibly private and peaceful, with wide-open desert views in every direction. The hot tub under the stars was a highlight, and the fire pit made our nights feel cozy and memorable. Everything was easy to access, clearly marked, and exactly as described. We absolutely loved our stay at this A-frame! From start to finish, everything was seamless. The directions were very straightforward, making it incredibly easy to get in and out, and the location was stellar—truly the perfect setting for our anniversary. The space itself was cozy, charming, and exactly what we were hoping for. Ken was a wonderful host and sent us some fantastic recommendations for the area that really enhanced our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10/10—highly recommend!

1 night at Cozy Retreat in Joshua Tree
The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Follow their directions and for the safest and sure way to get to the campsite. You can use a sedan. I was coming from the west. Bumpy roads are better than sandy roads. The cabin has just about everything except for a TV which is okay given the beautiful nature just outside. Their couch is in poor condition but the bed is good. Great home base to go and explore the area. Would highly recommend!

I would absolutely recommend this peaceful retreat in the desert! Super beautiful and quiet location just 30 minutes from Joshua Tree. Loved the outdoor hot tub and fire pit. Cozy indoor space had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

The Nook is AMAZING! Don't even question it, it is a perfect get away, trails throughout the area, privacy and surrounded by nature. Bring that 4WD and prepare to enjoy :)

Great location. Our visit was nice and peaceful. We were initially concerned with the tiny heater that was provided but we found that it worked great, we even had to turn it off halfway through the night. The Eagle Nest has a great view while still being secluded in the rocks and Manzanita.
