Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds.
Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC.
We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups.
May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge.
The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family!
Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild!
The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Grab the best quesadillas and drinks from the Way Baby or delicious coffee and breakfast from The Valley Grind.

The Sierra Sol Camp project has been hosting community events and friend gathering for years. We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step.
We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a vintage trailer and canvas tents.
We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake.
On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink.
Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

Our options include a cozy studio cabin with a full bed, bunk beds, or futon, our popular loft cabin that sleeps up to six with a queen bed and two full mattresses in a low-ceiling loft, and our spacious chalet with room for eight. Each cabin comes with a fully stocked kitchen and essential items like linens and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. To make your stay more comfortable, we suggest bringing along some additional beach towels, as the towels provided are meant for use only within the cabin. Pet Policy
All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Camp cooking has never been easier, as the community kitchen is well equipped with 2 full-sized refrigerators, gas stove/oven, pots and pans, dishware, silverware, triple sink, and two outdoor barbeques. The cooks will especially appreciate our unique outdoor “dishwashing station” for each individual (even kids!) to efficiently wash their own dishes instead of using throw-away plastic for each meal. Our bathhouse has two private toilets, two private showers with hot water and a double sink. Bring your own towels and toiletries.

Camp Watanda is a retired girls summer camp. We have 10 acres of wooded property, with the 4 sleeping cabins close to the waterfront lots of space for pitching tents/dispersed camping. The sleeping cabins all have 8-10 mattresses, grilling table, picnic table, cooler, smoke alarms, rake, broom and fire extinguishers. We are pet friendly. Our waterfront has a large fire ring (only available before May 1 and after Nov 1), 2-covered pergolas, canoes, kayaks, life jackets and charcoal grill. Lots of fish in the lake, since this is a private lake, no license is required. There is also a bathhouse (very primitive and in serious need of remodel) with 3 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks. There is no cell reception but wifi available on most of the property.

The Feather River Hot Springs offers you a stunning and serene mountain getaway. We are located on State Highway 70 along the East Branch of the North Fork of the Feather River in the canyon. There are 5 tent sites and 5 RV sites, as well as 3 cabins available for your stay. All very close to the river. Overnight stays include the use of a natural sulphur hot springs beside the Feather River. It is small, accommodating six persons max at one time. Guests are able to book a private reservation for two or more for $120. Young children are not allowed in or at the Springs, must be teens and up. There is a sign up board for shared soaks at check in cabin. The Springs are a short walk from the RV sites and camping. There are three cabins that sleep max of two adults. Pets are not allowed. They are nonsmoking cabins. The cabins are very close to one another. There is a shared outdoor cooking area. Five tent sites of different sizes are all along the river. Five RV sites as well to accommodate from small trailers to 40’ . Please check accommodations size before booking. Pets are welcome in RV and camping areas but must be on a leash at all times. Limit one pet per site. Aggressive dogs or excessive barking is not permitted and you will be asked to leave. Pets are not allowed down at the tubs. Campfires are by request, weather permitting. Quiet time is from 10pm to 9am. Excessively loud music not allowed. This is a very small resort, a mutual respect for al guests and the property is a top priority. This has been my home for over 15 years, it’s not a facility. Quaint and rustic but often referred to as magical. Not just a stopover on your way to somewhere else but hopefully a destination that you will want to return to again and again. Spring, summer or fall there’s always something new to experience on the Feather River!

Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds.
Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC.
We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups.
May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge.
The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family!
Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild!
The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Grab the best quesadillas and drinks from the Way Baby or delicious coffee and breakfast from The Valley Grind.

The Sierra Sol Camp project has been hosting community events and friend gathering for years. We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step.
We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a vintage trailer and canvas tents.
We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake.
On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink.
Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

Our cabin collection is where you will find the perfect lodging for your stay. Our options include a cozy studio cabin with a full bed, bunk beds, or futon, our popular loft cabin that sleeps up to six with a queen bed and two full mattresses in a low-ceiling loft, and our spacious chalet with room for eight. Each cabin comes with a fully stocked kitchen and essential items like linens and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. To make your stay more comfortable, we suggest bringing along some additional beach towels, as the towels provided are meant for use only within the cabin. Pet Policy
All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Camp cooking has never been easier, as the community kitchen is well equipped with 2 full-sized refrigerators, gas stove/oven, pots and pans, dishware, silverware, triple sink, and two outdoor barbeques. The cooks will especially appreciate our unique outdoor “dishwashing station” for each individual (even kids!) to efficiently wash their own dishes instead of using throw-away plastic for each meal. Our bathhouse has two private toilets, two private showers with hot water and a double sink. Bring your own towels and toiletries.

Camp Watanda is a retired girls summer camp. We have 10 acres of wooded property, with the 4 sleeping cabins close to the waterfront lots of space for pitching tents/dispersed camping. The sleeping cabins all have 8-10 mattresses, grilling table, picnic table, cooler, smoke alarms, rake, broom and fire extinguishers. We are pet friendly. Our waterfront has a large fire ring (only available before May 1 and after Nov 1), 2-covered pergolas, canoes, kayaks, life jackets and charcoal grill. Lots of fish in the lake, since this is a private lake, no license is required. There is also a bathhouse (very primitive and in serious need of remodel) with 3 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks. There is no cell reception but wifi available on most of the property.

The Feather River Hot Springs offers you a stunning and serene mountain getaway. We are located on State Highway 70 along the East Branch of the North Fork of the Feather River in the canyon. There are 5 tent sites and 5 RV sites, as well as 3 cabins available for your stay. All very close to the river. Overnight stays include the use of a natural sulphur hot springs beside the Feather River. It is small, accommodating six persons max at one time. Guests are able to book a private reservation for two or more for $120. Young children are not allowed in or at the Springs, must be teens and up. There is a sign up board for shared soaks at check in cabin. The Springs are a short walk from the RV sites and camping. There are three cabins that sleep max of two adults. Pets are not allowed. They are nonsmoking cabins. The cabins are very close to one another. There is a shared outdoor cooking area. Five tent sites of different sizes are all along the river. Five RV sites as well to accommodate from small trailers to 40’ . Please check accommodations size before booking. Pets are welcome in RV and camping areas but must be on a leash at all times. Limit one pet per site. Aggressive dogs or excessive barking is not permitted and you will be asked to leave. Pets are not allowed down at the tubs. Campfires are by request, weather permitting. Quiet time is from 10pm to 9am. Excessively loud music not allowed. This is a very small resort, a mutual respect for al guests and the property is a top priority. This has been my home for over 15 years, it’s not a facility. Quaint and rustic but often referred to as magical. Not just a stopover on your way to somewhere else but hopefully a destination that you will want to return to again and again. Spring, summer or fall there’s always something new to experience on the Feather River!

Great trip. We stayed in the Logger's cabin and it was beautiful. The area is nice, right on the river and the hot springs were great. Rocky was a wonderful host and took great care of us. We really enjoyed the trip and want to go back with friends. There is a lot of exploring and cool stuff to do in the area also. Highly recommended.

1 night at Feather River Hot Springs
The beautiful drive along the Feather River was breathtaking! Our cabin was very clean and lacking nothing for a perfect night stay.
The walk down to the private hot springs was very safe and the soak in the hot springs was relaxing and private. All was perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway!

I found the location and land to be beautiful and while I was there it was very private as no one else was around. The Geronimo cabin was spacious and Adam was kind enough to offer a flashlight since I forgot mine.

Weekend Trip to Lazy Bear Cabin
Quaint lil cabin off less traveled side roads in the Sierra Nevada foothills. It's got all the amenities you need and is close enough to Tahoe for day trips!
Jeff is super responsive and helpful host.
Definitely bookmarking this place.

Second time we have been here. Amazing property, plenty of dirt roads and light off roading if interested. Great place for kids to disconnect. The lack of wifi is a pro for my family rather than a con. The kids went to go play on their bikes and explore. The actual cabin is well outfitted with a fridge, stove and three nice bedrooms. There is a main house on the property with wifi if you absolutely need it. We plan on coming back again

3 nights at Lazy Bear Cabin
This is the second time we've stayed at Jeff's offgrid cabin and we loved it. Tucked away in the trees with all the amenities you need. The land is quiet and picturesque, the cabin is cozy and comfortable. We really like it up there and would absolutely go again.

Jeff's little slice of heaven by Tahoe National Forest was the perfect retreat for my husband and our dog. Directions were clear, the lights were on when we arrived at night, and it had all the basic necessities to support our weekend of adventuring. We had great hiking access not too far away and then a spot to return to to unwind.

Weekend Trip to Honeycomb Hut
We had a great time staying at the Honeycomb Hut! Even with the weather taking a serious turn, we were perfectly comfortable and dry inside, warming up near the gas fireplace under the romantic glow of the fairy lights. And I can't forget to mention the outhouse, it was the ABSOLUTE cleanest bathroom set up I've seen thus far throughout my experiences with hipcamp. In all, the Honeycomb Hut had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and I would definitely stay again.

Jeff's place met all of our expectations. It's a cozy cabin with a gas stove, fridge, and a pull-out couch which was decent. We brought our own bed linens and comforters. We were not expecting hotel bedding and knew what to bring. It was cold at night, but the fireplace kept us comfortable. We have enough experience camping and using fireplaces, so it was not an issue for us. We cooked our meals and took warm showers. Our dog had a great time wandering the endless forest behind the cabin. We had all the privacy we needed, yet Jeff was always available and responsive in communications. He gave us great suggestions for hiking and snow play.
On the day of checkout we had over a foot of snow, and Jeff helped clear the path for us to get to the road. We had 4WD so had no problems, but I definitely don’t recommend a 2WD during winter conditions. The I-80 road closure and chain mandate usually happen a couple of miles north of Jeff’s exit, so the location is perfect. It’s 40 minutes to Truckee and 30 minutes from Auburn.

This was such a wonderful spot for a group trip! The kitchen and living room layout are perfect for game nights and communal dinners, and there are lots of lovely individual rooms to retreat to for solo time. We had a great time exploring local trails and we would definitely stay again. Hosts were responsible and responsive!

The trip to the cabin was truly magical! Sierra City is a tiny little town (and most of it is closed in the winter), so this is truly a place to get away from it all. The cabin felt spacious, even with 8 people and 3 dogs present. The inside, outside, and surrounding area is so beautiful. It’s an amazing place to lounge or go for a nice walk by the rivers. Rachel is also an amazing host and all of our needs were met!

Great experience at Wisdom Reserve with our family! Adam was great in answering all of our questions prior to arriving. The Cabin was nicely equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of firewood to keep the cabin nice and warm. Our daughters loved hiking, making smore's around the fire, and just hanging out in nature. Thank you Adam for your hospitality!

I had an incredibly rejuvenating time at the Scotts Dear Lodge! Krysten went out of her way with little gestures to make the space feel clean, comfortable, and inviting. A home away from home, if you will. It was also incredible waking up with a cup of coffee while it snowed outside! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies you would need to prepare a nice home-cooked meal for yourself, and the wood-burning stove was also a highlight! I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a trip for a small family, couples, or solo adventurers! Don't miss out on this charming spot

Weekend Trip to Honeycomb Hut
Loved the cabin feeling and experience on Elena & Catherine's property. Everything was just as described. ONLY thing to keep in mind - if you are staying here when the weather is low 50s and colder bundle up! Bring WARM blankets. Yes they have a stove/heating situation, but it did take time for it to heat up the cabin that is not insulated. During the night we were nice and toasty under our blankets, but during the day it was a little nippy. LOVED sitting in the cabin and just listening to the rain come down - it was pouring! We stayed dry and the outhouse was clean and everything was provided. 100% would come back again - just when it is warmer :)

Staying at this magical little cabin in the woods was everything you could ask for and then some. We had a great time just enjoying the quietness of the area and just the sounds of the Yuba river. The cabin was beautiful and just felt like staying in a piece of history with how beautiful it was inside and out. Stay here and you wont regret it, only that you didnt book a longer stay.
