Coppercreek Camp is your mountain escape with fresh air and dark night skies perfect for star gazing. Come stay in a cabin or pitch a tent with friends and family and enjoy endless miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park.
Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds.
Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC.
We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups.
May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge.
The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family!
Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild!
The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Grab the best quesadillas and drinks from the Way Baby or delicious coffee and breakfast from The Valley Grind.

Our cabin collection is where you will find the perfect lodging for your stay. Our options include a cozy studio cabin with a full bed, bunk beds, or futon, our popular loft cabin that sleeps up to six with a queen bed and two full mattresses in a low-ceiling loft, and our spacious chalet with room for eight. Each cabin comes with a fully stocked kitchen and essential items like linens and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. To make your stay more comfortable, we suggest bringing along some additional beach towels, as the towels provided are meant for use only within the cabin. Pet Policy
All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

The cabin has a small loft style bed that can possibly accommodate one to two adults. The bed/Loft space is 4 feet wide and 7.3 feet long. A cot is also provided for additional sleeping space. The cabin sits on our peaceful 10-acre meadow property in a rural mountain community. While there are nearby neighbors as well as the host's house, the setting still offers plenty of space, fresh air, and a relaxed country feel. Inside, you’ll find simple comforts to support your stay, including a camp stove, coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave —ideal for easy meals and morning coffee. The cabin does not have indoor plumbing so no running water inside, but clean, potable water is provided for your stay. Outside the cabin, guests have access to a clean outhouse and a solar outdoor shower for a true back-to-nature experience. It is always a joy to visit Copper Creek. I would stay here all summer if I could. Sutter and Taylor are wonderful hosts. My friends and I loved walking the property and visiting the horses. Lake Almanor is just 30 mins away. Can't wait to return!

Peaceful and tranquil. Really love this place. Easy 10 minute drive to Lake Almanor. The cabins are rustic and minimal but have comfortable beds, a coffee machine, and air conditioning. Their a good step above tent camping. The weather is warm and sunny with a pleasant afternoon breeze and cool nights There is a beautiful creek on the property near enough to walk or drive but far enough away to avoid any pests. It is a very charming location set in a majestic pine forest. There are showers and running water restrooms and wash rooms with one private shower bath restroom. There is a large kitchen facility for group use.

We thoroughly loved our stay at Lena's Landing! The location is peace, quiet, beautiful, and near spectacular hikes and lakes. The cottage is cozy, quaint, clean with a well-equipped kitchen and modern appliances. There's a small loft bed and cot that can fit snugly inside or on the porch. The host, Annett, is delightful and super accommodating and responsive. She has two friendly horses, a goat and dogs. Plus, there's a spacious, serene view from the cottage.

Getting there was simple and the directions were clear. The Oasis Cabin was clean and neat. It was also well insulated to sound. Bring your sleeping bag or a blanket. These are just simple pads on small bed frames. The cabin had power, light, an A/C unit, a coat rack, and chairs on the deck.

We loved this place so much. It reminds me of the 4H camp I went to in Kentucky in the 70s, which is a good thing. Perfectly quiet and so many amenities that make camping so easy and comfortable. Half of me wants to tell everyone to come while the other half wants to keep it a hidden gem. But come. You won’t regret it.

Our stay at Lena's Landing was wonderful and made even more special by Anett and her beautiful property. The rustic tiny cabin was so cozy, with a comfortable loft bed. We loved looking out over the property and watching the dogs, goats, and horses roam freely. The peaceful setting was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here because it was recommended by a family friend and it exceeded every expectation. We were in town for a local bike race and only stayed one night, but it was the perfect place to rest after a long day of racing. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Anett. She is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming host who genuinely cares about her guests. She made us feel right at home. We are so grateful for our stay and cannot wait to return. Next time, we plan to stay longer so we can enjoy more of the property.

Anett was an outstanding host! We enjoyed our stay in Lena’s cabin and honestly slept so incredibly well. We wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was very clean and our stay included having access to: utensils, cooking pans, ground coffee, a french press, playing cards, propane stove top, a grill, a fire pit, a solar shower, the views of the meadows, stars and an opportunity to meet some of the farm animals (dogs, horses and Sully the goat). We loved our weekend at Coppercreek Camp. We had a big family weekend with a mix of ages including 9 kids under 12. We had a mix of cabins and tent sites. Everything was clean and comfortable. So nice that there is an ice machine. As a mom of young kids that stresses out anytime we’re in public, I really appreciated that as soon as we arrived Sutter told our kids what there was to do and to go run around and explore. The camp was set up perfectly for the kids. They loved playing badminton, the ropes course, and playing cards on the lodge deck in the evenings.

I had a great time, amazing views of the meadow! Perfect spot to get a little peace of nature. Plenty of activities, and the river is a quick walk across the meadows for a swim. Bringing my fishing pole next time. Another perk was the night sky, haven’t seen that many starts in a bit. Also loved the view from the outdoor shower.

We wish we would have had the time to stay longer!! Everything was simply perfect. Our host was amazing, so kind, and despite the shortness of the time we enjoyed our talks and every moment on this beautiful peace of property. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed making a small fire on our one night barbecue dinner using the little grill that has been provided. Solar bags for quick shower heated up well during the day and the outhouse was clean. Took a short walk down to the river even though this time of the year the ground was still pretty wet so walking through the meadow was a bit challenging. Bring hiking boots :) Enjoyed watching the train going by in the distance; during our short stay we only noticed it once . Never saw the next door neighbors and the very few cars passing by behind the cabin were no bother to us since it is a dead end road. We both used the loft bed which worked for us. Very tall people might choose to use the cot besides the loft bed for having more space. Despite no indoor plumbing, it’s been great to have running and clean water for coffee etc at the little dishwashing station.
Due to the absolutely gorgeous scenery in this area, this was our 2nd time visiting. ( first time through hip camp) We recommend this “ Camping ground” highly!!!!

The Cabin at Lena's Landing was so quaint and well thought out. Many personal touches that added to a lovely experience. The view of the meadow was my favorite as I enjoyed my morning coffee. Everything was provided to make this a memorable and enjoyable experience. The hostess, Anette, is charming and made sure I was comfortable and any questions were answered. I plan on returning to this peaceful spot and bringing my horse for the next stay. Great areas to ride and explore. Definitely recommend Lena's Landing.
