Every time I come back here I fall in love even more with the area. Shannon and Tim go above and beyond as hosts. They always make me feel safe and informed. The colors right now are magical. Listening to the leaves falling on my tent is indescribable! The grass is green and the stars were beautiful. Saw the most amazing shooting star. This was the perfect place to stop over on our trip down to Yosemite. Very close the highway, easy to find, and our spot was pretty level. The hosts could not have been nicer! Johnathan and Wes truly cared that we were enjoying our stay and made sure that we had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The majority of the park is full-time residents, however we felt safe and it was very quiet. We would stay here again if passing through the area. Bonus: the laundry room was very clean and the washer/dryer actually worked very well! No extra time needed for our load of towels - which is always an awesome surprise!

Amazing spot. Very close to the interstate and within a half hour drive to some really pretty hikes. The super nice person who greeted me (im terrible with names) was so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Site is magical. I was worried about space and privacy but it was manageable. Only one other camper. Little 2 and 3 are close/parallel but no one was in 2. With good setup it would be fine. The geese were so cute, we heard them but they were just far enough away to not drive our dogs crazy. This is "in town" I think so you can walk for a coffee or dinner. The town is just really small so it doesn't feel like you are in someone's back yard. And yes the bathrooms are everything everyone say. Nice clean. Nice table at each site for cooking.

Weekend Trip to Camp Miranda

I stayed here for the Humboldt Marathon and had an amazing experience! The hosts were super communicative and welcoming. The bathrooms and showers were some of the nicest I’ve ever seen at a campground — clean, private, and designed with beautiful Japanese-style wood flooring that gave it a spa-like feel. The whole space felt peaceful and well cared for, and I even got to enjoy some fresh fruit from their farm! Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area, recharging or looking for a relaxing, well-kept place to stay.

Darryl's farm has great vibes & he's a very accommodating host. I've stayed there twice & will probably stay again. Woke up to deer eating apples in the yard, wild turkeys running around, and a hawk circling the orchard.
