Easily one of the best places we’ve stayed. The convenience, amenities and value were phenomenal and these hosts go above and beyond to give you a comfortable and very leisurely experience. Being able to get a last-minute reservation here on our way home was so fortunate for us, and we’ll definitely be back! Usually this is a convenient stopping point for us when travelling between WA and CA, but now we are already talking about coming back to this very spot for a dedicated vacation here. The suite has everything you could need and more— huge bonus points for great WiFi, private hot tub, and bussing station and laundry baskets right outside the door. Easy check in. The property outside was so wonderful, we loved being greeted by free range turkeys when we got out of the car, and walking the property to see all the livestock and fun features of the place. Between that and the interior style, it really feels like the perfect authentic Northern CA getaway. Looking forward to being back soon!

Weekend Trip to Honeycomb Hill
We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to staying at the dome again the next time we're in the area.
The location is private and scenic, about 20 minutes from Ashland's city center. The dome itself is cozy and we'll equipped - though you will need to bring your own cooking supplies if you plan on cooking there. The hot tub was the highlight of our trip. You'll have beautiful views of the hills and wildlife. We spotted a family of deer and while we were tubbing!
One note for potential guest - you may have trouble with the access road to the property with a low-clearance vehicle. Our Subaru Crosstrek made it just fine, but it would be a bumpy one in a sedan.

I came to Mt Shasta for a reiki class and coming acrossed Ali's place was meant to be! Camping under the Grandmother tree at Shasta Gardens is an unforgettable experience. Her low skirt of branches feels safe and keeps you warm and cozy in your tent, as well as calm and grounded, as she was a tree planted generations ago by an indigenous family 💚 Ali is a wonderful host and a gifted soul who makes you feel right at home, sharing unique stories about the land and his own epic life. He made a fire which was perfect for keeping warm under the stars with a view of Mt. Shasta. It was cool being right next to a cat sanctuary and meeting the furry friends who hung out around Ali. His garden in itself is beautiful and says a lot about how much love he has poured into his space.
Despite the sound of the train, I felt so at peace and slept soooo good at his Hipcamp. I'm recommending it to all my friends who visit Shasta!

I couldn't more highly recommend Shasta Gardens!! I stayed 7 days at The Tree of Life and it was magical. This is the 2nd time I've stayed with Ali at Shasta Gardens and I'll be coming back every year. Ali is a fantastic host and you are given everything you could want and need. You have close access to everything Mount Shasta has to offer, including the energy work service's that Ali offers for your own personal development. This was the best 7 days of my entire year and I can't wait to come back next year. If you feel called to stay at Shasta Gardens, do it! You won't regret it!

Aside from the given natural beauty of this entire area and the magic it all holds, Ali is a true testament to the love and community that I have experienced in Mount Shasta! I could t have asked for a better host and guide. Every recommended spot and gathering was well worth it! I give 12/10 for exceptional vibes, and all the heart in this space. Ali is now a friend, do yourself a favor book and unplug under the grandmother redwood!!

Very beautiful spot right in town and with a view of Mt. Shasta. There are bathrooms, water and sitting areas which was a nice touch. We didn’t mind the train track being right by but there are consistent trains running for anyone curious. No problem with our camper shut.. kind of cool.
