Weekend Trip to Thompson Palms Campground

This is a great property. The owners are wonderful and make you feel so welcomed. Site 1 is great for a larger rig while site 3 has the open view of the palm grove. My grandkids loved the farm animals and koi pond. We will definitely be back and will recommend other visitors from out of town to camp here.

Absolutely beautiful land. Good Vibes couldn’t match the atmosphere any better. Full amenities with very clean bathrooms and showers. Owners are great very warm and welcoming people very happy to help. Disc golf course is nicest I’ve played in Southern California. Very well maintained with many beautiful views and shots. This was well worth the trip out and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Loomerland

We loved the sweetest dogs we ever met and all the farm animals! The baby bunnies and goats were a special treat for our kids. The dogs did bark a lot through the night and you gotta be ok with the roosters and birds all waking in the early morning, but there is something pretty cool about living with all the animals that makes that part worth it. There are also many sites with lots of shade!!! That is a big bonus. Watch out for red ants and poison oak. Sean gave us a new campsite so just check to see if they can look over your campsite for these things before you arrive.

Bernie and Hoa’s place is perfect for Basecamp. You can explore nearby attractions – San Diego Zoo Safari Park, hike to Potato Chip rock or peruse the shops in the small town of Julian. The RV sites are exactly as described. Hoa showed us to our site # 3 when we arrived and Bernie met us later to explain their property. Overall, The Thompson Palms Campground is peaceful. It was entertaining listening their cow talk. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Our tent site was happy hilltop and had a great view, it’s a short walk down the hill to the animals and toilet, the walk back up is a little steep but not too hard. The bunnies were so cute with babies, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep and pig are all amazing to keep the kids busy. Had a great time and will be back!

A lovely stay. The camper is well equipped and comfortable. However, you’re really coming for the animals and Ilana’s hospitality. We got to help feed all the animals at 4:30pm and snuggle with Thor, a gentle giant of a dog. A great quick trip! Highly recommend

Weekend Trip to Namaste Farms

oh my gosh fam, I cannot tell you HOW BEAUTIFULLLLLLY cared for my sister and I felt on this overnight trip we made. it was my 40th birthday, I knew I wanted to spend it on a farm, and everything was magical. MY BOYFRIEND, the pony, was a delight... my sister and I got to feed the 3 1/2 week old lamb, LAMBY... and the coziness and charm of the farm is unmatched. Sean was our point person and he adopted us like family. Can't recommend this experience enough. Thank you so much Namaste Farm. we'll be back :)

My fiancé and I had a great time at Nopalito Farm! The hosts were welcoming and provided all the assistance we needed to get settled. The Squirrel Cabana was clean and cozy, and just a short walk from the awesome outdoor kitchen, shower, and bathrooms. The avocado orchard was a gorgeous setting with a number of small native / beneficial plantings interspersed. Fresh flowers in the cabana, kitchen, and bathrooms were a nice touch. If you are looking for a cozy, laid-back camping destination I would definitely consider Nopalito Farm.

Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Today, Namaste Farms is recognized around the globe for raising high quality wool producing sheep. While sheep are the primary animals at Namaste Farms, there are countless other animals, both four legged and feathered!NOTE: Namaste Farms is a true working farm with copious amounts of sheep, goats, chickens, peafowl, and countless other animals. If you're wanting a rustic experience that gives you a break from city life and you can handle dust, dirt, cobwebs (and these can happen over night inside your cottage and WILL be in the common areas), with sounds of animals vocalizing at all hours of the day and night, then Namaste Farms is a perfect fit for you. Know, you're supporting a 501c3 charity and all the revenue goes to support the animals.This booking is for the Treehouse, and while it's only 1/2 a mile from the city limits, it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries and most of the major equestrian facilities including Galway Downs, Green Acres, and California Ranch Company. For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs and California Ranch Company. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. You can expect some natural noises during your stay. At a distance sometimes you’ll hear coyotes, owls, and the wake-up call from the rooster. Occasionally you will hear a donkey call in the distance. Your hosts live on site and usually plan to meet and greet as needed. Once you are settled you will have plenty of privacy, but we are on-site in our private home and could be reached if needed! This listing is for our spectacular yurt tent set and an RV site called the stables up on 20 acres in a secure and safe olive grove with plenty of privacy. You can expect spectacular views of the valley below, the Palomar mountains and relaxing sunsets under a beautiful blanket of stars. Our main house is about 600 feet from the site, but you will enjoy your own outside shower, compost restroom, picnic table, propane BBQ, large cooler, and fire pit! The tent accommodates up to 4 people and an additional person could bring their tent and set up on the site as well.
