So much fun for families with kids. Tons of play structures, sandboxes, trampolines and other toys. Kids loved feeding the alpaca, sheep and goats and collecting eggs. Cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. Kim was an incredibly gracious and generous host. Breakfast was delicious. We’d highly recommend this stay.

Amazing place! My sons of 9, 6 and 5 years old and I had a truly great time with animals and by the firepit. Kim and her daughter are fantastic hosts that don't hesitate to spend some time with their guests to show the farm, but at the same time not intrusive at all. We will certainly come again!

4 nights at Country Serenity With Resort Flare

This location is absolutely perfect for families, couples, solo campers, pretty much anybody! It has all the amenities you could ask for. We tent camped and felt like we were glamping with all that was available to us. Having access to the outdoor kitchen equipped with everything you could ever need made our stay so easy. All we had to do was basically bring our food, drinking water and tent but we of course brought some extra comforts for our setup. Everything from utensils to dish soap to plates and mugs were available for use. Being able to cozy up by the fire was also a big plus! The hosts are kind, welcoming and very responsive. They really have thought of it all with their location. We played pickleball, got on the trampoline, fed the goats, star gazed, soaked in the hot tub and played with our son on the swing set. I even brought my dirt bike on my trailer and it was so nice to just drive 25 minutes over to Hollister Hills SVRA for some riding. You'll love spending time here!

Do it! Book any of the two cabins for a night! You will come back rested and ready for a new week! It’s amazing to feed all the animals and feel so close to nature. If you have kiddos- they will love it even more! There are jungle gyms and trampolines and many options of bikes to play with! Kim is a fantastic host and she help you if you need anything. If you opt in for the warm breakfast- you will not be disappointed! The eggs and the french toast were delicious! Book a night there! Your mind and body will thank you! We will be back!

Kim’s Land is the perfect escape serene, clean, and welcoming. The farm animals were all so nice and friendly, adding a charming touch to the stay. Kim is a lovely host who makes you feel right at home. The natural surroundings are stunning, making it a great spot for relaxing in nature. Would definitely come back!

The site was epic and really well maintained. It felt secluded, but not dangerously remote for my girlfriend's first time camping. The directions were fairly clear and the spot was easy enough to find. Doug and Denise were super friendly and accomodating. My only critique is the site could use a better bathroom option. We ended up bringing our own fold up tent toilet setup purchased from Amazon. 9/10 We'd love to come back and try out the Creek site.

What an awesome experience! We spent the night with our two animal-loving girls, aged 5 and 9, and they had the VERY BEST TIME EVER. They enjoyed feeding the sheep and the goats, sitting with the bunnies, and meeting the chickens, tortoise, and farm cats. They played all over the kid-friendly amenities (play structure, trampoline, and kid wheels). The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot breakfast was sooo filling and delicious. Kim was an amazing host -- she answered so many of our questions and was super patient, accommodating the kids' many requests! The only caveat is that roosters wake up very early! But overall, I am tremendously grateful for our stay and hope we get the chance to return soon!

Lisa and Scott are wonderful, hospitable hosts who were very welcoming and attuned to helping us get acclimated in their beautiful property. My husband, babies, and I really enjoyed our time there even if there was poor planning on my/hub's part. We'd totally give it another go when things warm up and our schedule opens up. --- The place was super clean, spacious, and calming. Their goats are adorable. Their huge outdoor kitchen was an awesome spot to lounge and cook up a good meal. -- Give this place a try!

We had a great stay at Room with a View of a Ewe! The room was perfect for our needs. Bed was comfy and there were ear plugs available if animal noises were too loud (we didn’t need them). We loved the s’mores kit Kim provided. Our 4 year old had so much fun feeding animals and playing with all the toys! Kim’s breakfast was also delicious and a great way to start the day! We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Thanks for a great weekend Kim!!!

This camp site was a lovely gem to find that was perfectly secluded yet not a far drive into town. We drove a 30 ft trailer and some parts were a little narrow getting to the site but made it with no problem. The kids loved the short hike to the creek. We definitely were happy we chose the redwood spot vs the creek given the length of our trailer. Doug was a great host and we were all happy to hear all about their animals. Would love to stay again if we are ever back in Santa Cruz.

What an awesome spot! We have been traveling in our van, which is fully remote capable, but we were really craving some sunshine and water after 2 weeks on the coast. This place was a little bit of a splurge for us, but worth every penny! We arrived early enough to enjoy the pool (which was amazing). In addition, the fully stocked outdoor kitchen was a huge treat! We made burgers on the grill, enjoyed the hot tub, then played a little basketball before retiring to our van. We met all the very friendly goats, enjoyed use of an indoor bathroom (a huge plus for campers) and had use of a full outdoor kitchen to do our dishes. The surrounding mountains provided stunning views. A shower is the only thing this place lacks, but most travelers don't require that every day. I'm wondering how much they will charge us if we stay full time?! 🤔 It was worth every penny! We highly recommend this place! The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had wifi, goats, views, a beautiful pool, basketball, room for our dog to roam, roosters alerting us to the rising sun, a very nice bathroom, coffee....it was perfect!

We had such a fun time staying at Doug and Denise's creek campsite. The sound of the creek and the shade from all those beautiful redwoods was by far my favorite. This place is perfect to escape the heat of the summer. To top it all off Doug was such a humble and kind person, he gave us a tour of his ranch and filled us in on all the hard work and time he's put into this land. Thank you again for being kind hosts and for hooking it up with some fresh eggs, we will definitely be back again.

We loved our 2nd stay here! My daughter and I had a wonderful time getting to know the farm animals and enjoying a fabulous breakfast. Kim is a lovely host and we truly enjoyed our mini break from our usual routine.

Denise and Doug are lovely people. We had the most magical time on their land. We really would love to come back in the future. The water on side is very fresh from the well and drinkable. The redwood trees are magical. I also bought fresh eggs from Denise from their happy chickens. The drive to the property is windy but easy .Definitely recommend this place.❤️

It was our second time to stay here. My kids love this place and wanted to come back. Kids enjoyed feeding and petting farm animals. A 3-day-old lamb was so lovely, and next day, we could luckily meet a newborn lamb. Kim’s hot breakfast with freshly collected eggs is awesome. We’ll definitely come back again.

We are a small farm in Silicon Valley. We are basically a petting zoo and kid-friendly destination! You can stay in our "Flying Pig" cabin (sleeps up to 5), or our "Room with a view of a Ewe" (sleeps 3)....or bring friends 'n' family - and reserve both :-) We provide a continental breakfast for free or you can add on a hot breakfast. Wake up to sheep and goats outside your door with a view of the pasture. Please PLEASE read further for more information! and read again just before you come :-) The guest restroom (outside entry in the main house) is shared with other guests. I clean it every day, between every group or guest. We have bikes for kids, playhouses, playground, so many kid activities....and of course, animals galore!! You can feed or pet many of them. Relax, the place is yours! One mile away is Harvey Bear County Park, with trails for bikes, horses or walking. We are 5 minutes from the Gilroy Outlets, yet a world away from the hustle and bustle! Come, relax and enjoy nature! Enjoy Gilroy Gardens (seasonally) or go hiking at a nearby State or County Park. Or just relax at the Farm. We will make this a special day for you! Let us know if you are celebrating an event * CHECK-IN is after 4:00pm and please give us a 30 min heads-up before your arrival. CHECK OUT is 10am, unless previous arrangements have been made. Please be as specific as you can regarding your arrival time (so I can make the temp in there as comfortable as possible, turn on lights as needed, etc.) ** We are a "Bed and Breakfast"; most days we have other day-guests and events here, so please respect the arrival and check-out times. If you stay 2 nights, please be aware that you most likely won't have the whole farm to yourselves during the day. This is an animal farm. If you love new animal experiences, this is the place for you! If you are scared of or allergic to cats or dogs, this might not be the place for you! If you can't handle new smells and sounds, this might not be the place for you. You will feed and enjoy the animals; please respect their space, no chasing and no going into their enclosures. There is dirt, dust and various country critters. We love Country Life!! If you are adventurous and love animals and want a unique experience, come check us out! Restroom available in the main house (short walk from the cabin). Small fridge and microwave next to the restroom. There is no kitchen/oven/stove available. Gas Fire pit available ; there is no BBQ. We are exceptionally cautious with camp fires. If it is particularly hot and windy, there will be no fires. We now have a gas fire pit where you can create smores or just enjoy the campfire ambiance. Price is $175 for the Flying Pig (up to 5 total). Another option (as an add-on): you can pitch a tent for $45. "The Flying Pig" has a queen bed, bunk beds twin size, and a loft with a twin mattress, all bedding included. You are not just paying for a place to sleep; you are paying for an experience and the enjoyment of our property :-). We serve a continental breakfast (free) or hot breakfast ($35/cabin) between 8-9am. (we can accommodate vegetarian and dairy free diets; let us know before you come). We provide bedding and towels. There is A/C and a plug-in heater in The Flying Pig. Please do not bring additional things to plug in except for chargers for phone/electronic devices. We are approximately 1 1/2 hours south of San Francisco, 30 min south of San Jose (without traffic). Gilroy Gardens is 15 min away; Harvey Bear County park is 1 mile away; Monterey and Santa Cruz and the Pinnacles National Park are approximately 1 hour away. We recommend bringing dinner or eating before arrival to maximize your evening. In the area: Amazing experience available at the Royal T Ranch nearby, but must book well in advance. They have a camel, ostriches, emus, a cow, mini horses, etc. Also Gilroy Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Contact us for more info. If you want to celebrate a birthday and bring friends for the evening, there is an additional fee for parties. (Please contact us about this). If you want to bring a few friends just to enjoy the evening, we now have that as an add-on. SPECIAL PACKAGES :-).
