Community building 3. Environmentalism and Sustainability If you're coming July-Mid August, please know it is HOT (95 average/75 night) and wildfires are a consistent threat. With that, wildfire prevention is a high priority. We have a lot of projects we have started and could use all the help we can get! The Mountain Chapel Campground was fantastic! I stayed at the Rustic Cabin. It was very simple, but great. No frills but had everything I needed. Comfortable bed, clean linens, a couple chairs, a table, shelves, a desk. Close enough to walk along a well-lit path to the nice tile showers with hot water. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to the national parks, and Clovis is such a charming town. As a family of four (two adults and two kids), the RV was just right for us: comfortable, cozy, and with everything we needed. The pool was a big hit, and we loved having it to relax after our outings. We visited Yosemite and even stopped by the waterpark in Fresno on our way out, which made the trip extra fun. The host was very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend!

Mark was a very responsive and kind host and also has a very beautiful property. My bestie and I booked a glamping experience and we both had a great time. Neighboring guests who were in tents were also respectful during the quiet hours. So we both were very well rested coming from our trip in Sequioa National Park. Animals on the property were kind too and didn’t bother us. The glamping site was also very clean and cozy. I’d definitely do it again. Sad to have only done it overnight. Still a very affordable option and a convenience if traveling to and from both Sequioa and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The camp is a perfect spot for people looking for communal outdoor recreation, with many friendly animals and amenities. It’s nearby the national parks and Fresno and you will definitely get to know the camp owners and other visitors. I would absolutely return! Be ready for the heat and bring a swimsuit and treats for the animals.

We loved the glamping tent. Even though it was very hot, we were happily surprised to have a cooling fan in the tent. We also really appreciated the access to power to charge our phones. Mark was very helpful throughout our stay and we loved seeing all the animals.

We had such a delightful stay at Marks place! The amenities and farm were beautiful and our daughter had a great time saying good morning to the sheep, getting to know the cats, and even picking a few oranges! The tent was comfortable and had everything we needed, including a power cube to charge our phones. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful - it was magical staying under the olive trees!

Lovely gem of a place! Easy to find. It was fun to stay in a BIG trailer with pullouts after spending days in a camper van! Property is fenced. Very cool little compound located right on the king river. Swimming in the river was heavenly. Communicating with Mona was great over the app. Dale met us upon arrival and was a great, kind, helpful host and fun to talk to. We were only passing through to the coast on this trip and only stayed a night. If I had my way we’d have stayed a few more days and enjoyed the river and the peace and quiet. Would be a great place for family get- togethers. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a great time staying at Jasleen's Mountain Trailer! The property is tucked back in the foothills and the trailer has everything you could possibly need. It was comfortable, clean, and Jasleen was an amazing host! We had to message her a few times about things and she was very quick to respond and help us out. Definitely recommend!

Gorgeous in the springtime! We came to get away for a night, and it was just what we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, the Cozy, visiting with the horses, and a walk around the property’s hill the next day. Loved the wildflowers in the spring!
