This is Glamping at its best! We have two cabins that have kitchens with mini frig, microwaves and sinks. Complimentary coffee and tea as well. Very comfortable queen beds. Each cabin has a living room and table area along with gas fireplaces inside and A/C. Outdoor courtyard area with firepit, picnic tables and string lights to enjoy the days or evenings.
Each cabin sleeps two but both can be rented to sleep four. Both cabins are historic to the area.
All of this is in the center of the Santa Ynez valley close to Los Olivos , Santa Ynez and Solvang.
Wine tasting, bike riding and hiking. Great restaurants and wineries within walking distance.

The driveway is accessible for by car, truck, camper van, (Westie, or same type of camper van); tent campers are welcome too. It's not very easily accessible for very large trailers (more than 36 ft). The neighborhood is very quiet. Water, Wifi, and power are all available. There is no cleanout for sewer. Has a really nice time camping at The Ford. The site is large and has lots of shaded, usable space. Tons of greenery and birds. It is close to a road and cars can be loud at night. Bring white noise or earplugs. The chickens were really fun to have nearby, and the frogs and crickets go crazy at night. Bugs are present, but not aggressive. Had a really nice stay.

Perfect little camp. Nice location close Ojai and Ventura. Also near the Ojai - Ventura Bike Path, great for biking and walking/running.
If wildfire conditions weren’t so bad we could have enjoyed a camp fire.
Friendly horses and a dog. A rooster will wake you up in the early morning.
I would visit here again.

Catherine was a lovely host! We stayed at the Ford tractor, which was beside a clear creek with tons of wild watercress. The sound of crickets and frogs at night was so soothing. Just to note: expect cell service to be limited, although we didn't mind unplugging for a few days. Will definitely be coming back!

Catherine was the most accommodating host. I had a hard time getting my stakes to stay in the ground and so she graciously allowed me to set up at her other campsite on her property. Her ranch is beautifully maintained and having a bathroom made it super convenient. Also ranch dog Kierra was the best welcoming committee, beware if you pet her she won’t want you to stop!

Very peaceful place to lay your head. Was able to sleep at night to the sounds of frogs, owls, and other wildlife. Woke up to some deer and a few woodpeckers. No noise from people and the nearby road can’t really be heard. Host was very kind and helpful, gave me a tour of the grounds, gave me tips on nearby experiences, and was very welcoming.

Dark Star Cellars was a perfect location for our weekend of wine tasting! We could walk to several vineyards and only had to drive 10 minute to downtown Paso. The bathroom on site is clean and available after the vineyard tasting room closed for the evening. The location was quiet with only 2 other camper vans parked at night. Dark Star Cellars itself was a wonderful, laid back vineyard with friendly staff and great wine! I would definitely go back!

Location was great. The people that work there were very nice. The amenities were ok - it's pretty laid back and you're basically parking in a back parking area but the surroundings are beautiful. We were closet to the roosters so that may bother some people. Nice place to taste wine and hang out. I think they could work on the communal areas a little bit.

Catherine is an awesome host! Largest campsite I've ever stayed on, beautiful sounds of birds by day and frogs by night. Bathroom setup was perfect. No shower, but they do have running water and a porta potty.
10/10 will be back if we are in the area. The camp dog was a bonus!
