We (Tim and Victoria) moved out to our place in the desert in February 2008 along with our many plants. We have continued to grow our little farm of 6 acres to what it is today, which includes an orchard with about 50 fruit and nut trees and enclosed garden/greenhouse structures with veggies and herbs that are protected from wildlife and the elements. We have a seasonally heated pool with 3/4 wraparound deck and amazing views of the Tucson Mountains. We have a basketball court, a ping pong table, cornhole court as well for recreation. Our Beach site has a domed 'chill zone' with heaters in the winter, comfortable chairs for relaxation and a great spot to let your dog hang out unleashed. Our Prickly Pear site has a pull through for campers and RVs. Our RV site has 30 amp electric and black water dump station. All of our sites are fenced in, and have many, many cool amenities such as fire pits, sinks with fresh, pure water, table with 4 chairs, gas grills and lounge chairs/porch swing. Our property in a 160-acre neighborhood surrounded by open desert state lands. In our sustainable community/neighborhood are like minded, peaceful people who are as connected to and respectful of the land as we are. We are looking forward to hosting Hipcampers and sharing our lovely slice of heaven.

Dragoon is rich in history and natural beauty. The name comes from the 3rd U.S. Calvary Dragoons who battled the Chiricahua Apaches here led by Chief Cochise during the Apache Wars. Nearby, you can visit the confederate graves and ruins of the Dragoon Springs Stage Station. About 20 minutes away is Cochise Stronghold, home and burial place of Chief Cochise and Chiricahua Nat'l Monument is about an hour away (great hiking and climbing!). Unique to this area are the amazing rock formations of pillars, balances, and stacked rocks caused by cooled volcanic granite 50 million years ago.  In addition, our area is home to hundreds of different bird species, the occasional Gila monster, coyotes, deer, and javalina.

Very close to the beautiful Ironwood National Forest, and about 20 minutes to Tucson for local amenities. Plenty of space but one camper with a 5th wheel of 42' feedback that he had hard time to get in / out. So listing for 38' max total length . Also if you have a very low rider, this is desert landscape so you could have hard time and scrap bottom. This is a dirt road close to the site and could be bumpy. 30A and 50A outlets available at the site I repeat 38' max total length. I don't want you to get stuck Also avoid if you have a very low rider as this is a dirt road close to the site and could be bumpy.
